Hello All,
I've done a lot of research, I know about spas, saunas etc. But I read somewhere that people are mixing creams. I've seen the recipes but there are still mystery ingredients. I'd love to get my hands on some of them but in the US, its damn near impossible to get them unless you get someone to ship them for you.

Some I see repeated a lot:
Kenacol oil (which I suspect is Kenalog, a steroid)
Schenic / Shenic oil
Talking oil
Secret oil
Phillipino set
Navarro's Bleach

Various Philipino/Thai creams and oils.

These ladies have like day glo white skin in that strong sun..While that's not my goal, anything that can help me step up my game is welcome.

Where can someone in the US get these items?

Anyone who can import these items and sell them will make A LOT of money....just saying...

Yes. Snow white powder, Egyptian Oil, Moroccan oil, Kamana, etc. What are all these? Mixtures of natural powders/oils or blends of kojic/sepiwhite/symwhite? I wish I knew the exact chemicals. For example: Tawas Philipino Powder is Alum. I saw a YouTube lady using Potash to lighten her hands. Those are natural.

They also have products from Asia/Africa that we don't have access to in the US. I'd also like to know how to get them.

Some people are adding steroids and having no side effects. I've found, I can't even use hydrocortisone; my skin will lighten then darken. Some roids just darken me and make that patch of skin incredibly difficult to lighten. I have test patches that only after a few years are just starting to lighten. Even after tca peels, milder peels, hq, ka etc have been thrown at them.

I know. They have like flawless skin no marks no knuckles no dark parts no stretch marks. I am quite intrigued.

Lol, kenacol is nat a steroid and it’s called BEL ECALT KENACOL... it prevents stretch marks ,fights against green veins and also works for cream reactions. You can check it out online

Schenic oil also do the same work as KENACOL

secret oil is in form of a serum, most cream mixers uses it in the formulation of face creams

Filipino Set is popularly known as half cast powder and solution... it’s mainly for whitening

Talking oil is called Egyptian talking oil, it’s also a serum also and it’s of different types

So, cream mixing is not a magic ... it’s combination of both organic products and already made products... and also about the sun issue... it’s compulsory to always add sunscreen in your formulations to avoid sunburn 😁
You seem to know a lot about these things. What are people using on knuckles, knees, etc?

And my biggest problems are to this day, face and knuckles.... What would be good for dark patches/sunburn on the face?

I know that some of these mixologists add sunscreen but do people reapply too? Like add a stand alone sunscreen? In the summer here, I would have to reapply sunblock because of the humidity.

I did more research on Ebay and an African blog about skincare. There are US sellers that have some of the listed items.
My previous searches of Ebay didn't have any good results.

Navarro's Bleach ingredients look like White Henna and Hydrogen Peroxide and Glutathione.

I'll keep researching.

Cream mixing is quite complicated... that’s why most people apply for full training for them to understand the basics in formulating creams ...

About the knuckles issue, we have a lot of anti knuckles and stretch marks creams is market and the problem is finding the right one Nd also how to apply it to give a good result

And about sunscreen, most products used in mixing creams contains spf ...

Good luck in your research...
I'm sorry if you felt bombarded by all of my questions.

Even though I was trained in how to compound creams the pharmaceutical way, there are just some ingredients that aren't used/found here.

Where I live, there are no pro mixer classes as skin lightening is still looked down upon. I'm not confused, the information just isn't as easily obtainable to us as it is to people in Nigeria.

While I've been lightening for a while now, there are still new things I can learn, hell, anyone reading can learn. I created this topic not only to glean knowledge, but to help others with their skin care journeys.

Thank you for answering my questions.

Honestly the info is not fully out there everyone just go looking and asking questions until we get what we want. Remember when Mimi white and Fifi are the only people selling Egyptian milk and we don't have a clue what that is I still see many things in store and look at them like they're food for some other tribes and here in Niger a minimum of two people are bleaching in a family.

Basically its the above mentioned ingredients that are used in these Nigerian creams, previously just a few had access to it but its more widely known, there are lots of kojic acid serums, glutathione serums, and some lightening oils bought here then they buy arbutin, giga white, sepi white,Licorice, kojic acid powders, mix these with rose water and add to a base cream to make whitening creams, the serums and oils make whitening oils. The shenic and kenacol are used to prevent green veins.
However anyone who already knows what they are doing knows most of these ingredients, the strange ingredients that give that white, ghostish look are the snow white powder which is simply Potassium alum(fitkari) and Filipino powder which is mainly hydrogen peroxide, white henna and glutathione.
Personally,I cannot use hydrogen Peroxide on my skin,i can understand if people use it as masks but it is mixed in these creams and used daily,no one knows the later effects. Alum too is ok to use but again I wouldn’t advise daily usage.
So yeah there you have it,
