Lately for some reason my hair has had a lot of static. I mean it is not a lil either my hair was practically standing up the other day. I tried to brush it and made it worse. Does anyone have any tricks or ideas of how to get rid of it?

It's funny....I have tried 4 different kinds of "Anti-Static" brushes, and there is only one, a very old one, that actually works! When that old dog falls apart I don't know what I'll do cuz I can't find another like it! It says "Static-Free" "Style 1" on it and is a red and black vent brush with ball tips.
Nothing else works for me!

I came back to this thread to see if anyone else had any tips! i forgot about the can of Static Guard I had stashed in my closet from last winter, and lo and behold! it does work when sprayed on my brush first. I have a Marilyn round brush I use to blow dry and the Static Guard really does cut the static!

I know a humidifier would help too, but I'm too lazy to drag it out, clean it, fill it, sterilize it after using....gah!
