Fawnie is retin a better though if you problematic skin or can it still it still be used if you have good skin just with fine lines? Also even though there are side effects from what i know of ret a can be same be said say if you use the green cream?

From reading reviews on the net i have heard mixture of things of people getting bad reactions to products such as loreal revitalift? Just wondering is this is may be just a bad product or what?

From what i have heard about Roc is that it is good for oily skin but some people with dry skin has had bad reaction to Roc if you go on makeupalley and smartskincare they might give you more info about Roc too, but i do think it is meant to be good, just be careful if you have sensative skin!

Hi fawnie after doing a quick read up and I dont know if Im correct to say to this or not but anyhow Retin A seems to be a better option than Retin Micro, dont know if im correct to say this or not! Anyhow what i am wondering is will it cause sensative skin any major reactions, or skin damage.

I have noticed that some products may be it is the high amount of chemicals im not sure to be honest can make my skin go very bad and obviously I dont want to cause any skin myself any skin damage!

Also i suppose cause i am in a working enviroment I dont want to be going into work with whilst going through a purging stage!

Just wondering but what did you use on your skin on the nights you were not using the green cream?

Im just wondering too what do you think of nano technology, do you think it is an ok thing to use on the face, just wondering cause im still on the fence, so to speak about this!?

Thanks for all the help fawnie, all the support too is very much appreciated!

NY,

1) My thinking is that Retin-A Micro is a superior product since it doesn't cause peeling or redness, which can make ppl stop using Retin-A. Everyone is entitled to their preference, however.

2) I don't know what chemicals you mean. Could you be specific?

3) Purging happens to some ppl, not all. If you did not purge when you started the Green Cream, chances are you are not one of the purgers. That is OK.

4) I used Green Cream every nite on my skin. Why would you want to complicate things and switch around among products? The trick is to stick to a program and use as few products as possible so you can see what works and what doesn't. You don't need everything all the time! Forget the advertising and stick to the basics.

5) I don't have enough info to comment on nanotechnology, so I am always on the lookout for facts about it, not advertisement. For the time being, I use Viterol A, which has nanotechnology. I only use it around my eyes and mouth not all over my body, so the exposure to it is limited.

I hope this helps you a little. I know you are interested in skincare, and it shows, but try to keep it as simple as possible....life is complicated enough!!

Fawnie i dont really know that much about the differences between ret a and micro just read review to be honest on makeupalley and so hence came to the conculison that ret a might be better! Im prepared to go with what people recommend though! Anyway il wait till im comfy on lev 9 before evening thinking about rwhich ret to use anyway.

I only started using Green Cream last week so gonna start using it every night from now so far no reaction, I know Gyrmat was speaking to me about using more on my face so i do get some peeling and dryness but so far nothing, i did start using a bit more around my face than just pee sized amount but dont want to over do it, i think?!

I am keeping it as simple as poss, just gonna try though to stick with cleanser etc that are as natural as poss if i can! The only prob i have is that my face is very dry so and when looked on green cream i did notice that some people do use a moisturize with this product but il see what they say on the board about this, may be i can use moisturize when get home from work then use green cream before bed or something!

Fawnie though do you know if the janson becketts alpha derma product is meant to be any good i was thinking about getting it for my boyfriend, as i saw it is available in ebay etc here and know it would save on shipping costs and think the green cream would make his skin break out he is very prone to this and has more sensative skin than me!

Many thanks, and yeah its all helpful info

I think you just have to keep trying things until you find something that works rather than buying things over the net - unless you can get samples first. Let the Green Cream do its work though. The less your skin depends on moisturizers the softer it becomes.

Do you take fish oil supplements? This might help you with your dryness. Do you have any other medical conditions that might be causing the dryness or take any meds that might do it?

Yeah fawnie i take supplements have wheat grass, fish oils many many more tend to swap around what i use every couple weeks though!

Medical conditons i think the fact i have underactive thryoid and take drugs for arthritis is my main factor and getting very dry skin, and also the fact that cause i work in retail the air con that is on does help the skin too!

Do you think moisturizer are not a good idea cause i always thought using that with oils seemed to be good on my skin but obviously i dont want to over do it!

The problem is though finding eye creams that actually work!

To be honest though fawnie i find it a lot easier buying stuff over the net as long as i know exactly what i want that is, know some people dont like it though, unfortuantly though getting skin samples these days tend to be pretty hard even when i asked the clinique few months ago she would not give me anything normally they only like giving something when you buy something else of theres!

Just so i know if im doing this wrong im putting on oils in the morning, spf then moisturizer and then using green cream at night on its own!

Obviously i do as much as i can to keep the skin from drying and the only thing my boyfriend has suggested is to step up the excersise as may be this is why my skin is so dry, so also think he is correct about this.

However though if you have any other suggestions for me id love to hear um please, as just dont want to end up with more fine lines etc due to dryness! Thankyou so much!
