i have two hypertrophic scars on my leg. they are a year and a half old.
what is the best way to get rid of them.
such as steroid creams, TCA.
please help, i'm tired of covering them up with makeup

I had one huge one on my shoulder (like where the smallpox vax goes) and it was HUGE and ugly and I used three layers of 30% tca, killed. Then before it peeled I re-did three, then as it peeled I put Super Cop (only use copper peptides for scar remodelling) it is 95% smoothed now, red but smoothed, I could probably do another go and get rid of it all but want to let the surrounding skin calm and see what some scar creams do now.

Just be careful if you are darker, the pigment goes and will take exposure to eventually if ever get back, you can get a tattoo though if need be.

Bio Oil won't work (cause I've used it before). I think it's over hyped. Furthermore, it contains mineral oil (petroleum by product). I made a mistake not studying the ingredient list before buying it. And it is not that cheap either (for something that has high content of mineral oil).
