This thread could be useful for someone that needs to ask a question about skin lightening instead of making a new thread. And if you know the answer you could quote their question and answer it for them. I hope this is making sense.LOL

Hello, beautiful peoples!

So the weather is getting warmer and warmer where I'm at and although permatan removal + lightening should be a year-round activity, I kinda want to take it easy for the next few months because I want to relax and save $$$. So, I'm just wondering, but should I stock up on Likas soaps to use over the summer, or should I go with a rice milk soap? Reason why I ask is because Likas is a very basic, mild, and clarifying soap that doesn't really 'deposit' anything into the skin, and I really don't wanna play with acids when it gets scorching out soon. Rice milk naturally has lactic acid, I think, and it might be having something else for people to claim it lightens the skin naturally, and again,, I'm not into burning myself unnecessarily if I can help it. I will also be staying away from lotions/creams with acids as well as all over chemical peels.

Will be moisturizing + protecting with SS + SAP + skin building with butters and oils at night, as well as taking my supplements for internal lightening and protection too, I'm just worried about the soap part for the summertime.

TIA~

Church! I've been watching that soap for the last several weeks now, debating if it's good or not. Thanks for confirming it!

I had nothing but good effects (except for a headache the first week). My eyes used to be redder before
Which brand of MSM do you take?
Carotein is a skin lightening cream that contains carotene, which is a natural pigment that gives fruits and vegetables their orange color. It is believed to have a lightening effect on the skin due to its ability to inhibit the production of melanin, the pigment responsible for skin color. However, it's important to note that the use of carotene as a skin lightening agent is controversial, and it may have some potential side effects.
Milk protein, specifically lactic acid, is another natural lightening agent. Lactic acid is a type of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that can exfoliate the skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. It can be found in products such as milk baths, yogurts, and other dairy products. Lactic acid is generally considered safe for most people, but it may cause skin irritation in some individuals.
Sure White is a skin lightening brand that contains a combination of natural lightening agents such as kojic acid, bearberry extract, and vitamin C. Kojic acid is derived from mushrooms and is believed to inhibit the production of melanin. Bearberry extract, also known as arbutin, has been shown to have a lightening effect on the skin. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that can help to brighten the skin and reduce the appearance of dark spots. However, like carotein, the use of Sure White as a skin lightening agent is controversial, and it may have potential side effects.
Natural lightening agents may not work for everyone and may cause adverse reactions in some individuals

Claims to remove a permatan from the skin but I'm skeptical. Still, I'm curious just in case anyone else tried it!

Some people say it’s authentic but I don’t trust them. I’ve seen fake Makari at PAKS many many times. It’s a gamble

The Extreme shine gold range does nothing if your intention is to lighten.

Wow that’s a shame 🤦🏾‍♀️ Do you know anything about the Fair and white European version?
Hi guys. How often do you use Kojie San soap? Is it safe to use it everyday? I’m seeing conflicting info on it and I don’t want to mess things up for myself.

I use it everyday as the main soap for my body. I let it set on my body for 5 to 10 minutes before washing it off. I can use it everyday for my face and neck, but only for a maximum of 5minutes. As soon as I feel a burning/strong tingling sensation, anywhere on my skin, I rinse the soap off. Kojic acid soaps can cause burns in less than a minute. It can burn you like any other acid; don't let it touch your genitals.
