Is there any unbiased and reliable source?

Hi, everyone --

New to SCT. A few years ago someone wrote a book to the effect of "Don't Go to the Cosmetic Counter Without Me." It was comprehensive, educational and very honest.

Anyone know of any recent book or web site that provides this information?
The few web sites that purport to be unbiased simply aren't.

Thanks for any insights . . .

Although i havent read that book, if you search at Amazon you will find the 7th Edition of "Don't Go to the Cosmetics Counter Without Me" there is another similar book called "The Beauty Bible: The Ultimate Guide to Smart Beauty"
"The New Science of Perfect Skin" by Yarosh
Around 10 years ago I was one of the original product testers for the 'The Beauty Bible' and 'Feel fabulous Forever' books by Stacey and Fairley. I can certainly confirm that we blind-tested the products, to the extent that when I really wanted to continue using one of the products I had a hard time trying to identify it (turned out to be Cellex-C, by the way).

Unless the authors have changed their testing and reviewing methods for more recent editions, I'd be pretty sure the reviews in their books are genuinely impartial.
Yeah, but the problem is you never know where cash is being laid out by manufacturers.
I think this is an unbiased reliable source... can't get much more honest than a community forum. Keep reading, keep writing...
That' is true. I am as honest as it comes. I have no money to make from slinging products, so if something sucks, I let people know about it. You should check out my blog and see if that helps you any.
