Hi everyone:

I arrived in the US from a humid background. i have only been here for barely a year. During my third month here (State of Utah), i started to develop this itchy skin out of nowhere. the condition is extremely uncomfortable. I have had numerous encounters with my Doctor but to no avail. I have tried several prescribed medications, lotions (fragrance free), checked my blood for any impurities,...you name it.

the itch arises anytime i feel heat(warmth) around my body. Eg. Walking through the cool temperatures and entering into a building that has heat turned on; starting to play any sports and feeling like the need to sweat; during my sleep at night etc...

My point is, anything that arouses heat around my body causes this severe itchiness. The sun is also one of those severe factors. the moment i am exposed to it, my skin begins to itch (the upper part of my body).

Please, i need your help. Anyone that has ever had such a problem should please help me out. My doctor's routine checks on my skin condition couldn't stop my plight.

The itchiness results in tiny rashes all over my body, typically last for the duration of the itch (~10min) and disappear after the itch is over.

I know this condition is weird, but would definitely welcome any ideas.

Welcome Richard, Sorry I can't help you. My boyfriend has the opposite condition, only when it's cold, how strange! Doctors said : nothing to do. He goes swim, if the water is too cold, he gets puffy redness, itchy and it last about 10 minutes. it's all over his body. In Winter, usually only his legs, his jacket keeps him warm but not his legs. My legs gets itchy too, I read it's because of warm baths, I use nerisome cream. It calms the itching. I hope you will find a solution.
