We are made to believe that all these film stars are perfect in looks because they are casted as such on tv with all their heavy make-ups and hair-dos. So, when we actually see them without any make-up on, we are shocked which is normal! Hmmmm.

I always thought, Jennifer Lopez was picture perfect but in reality she is not which is a relief to most of us I believe!

Hey everybody! I'm new, so this is my first post! But I've been browsing these boards for quite some time now...

To the OP, I actually googled it for you... Apparently she spends up to $20 000 PER MONTH on her beauty routine!! That includes a private chef to cook her organic high protein, low fat meals (cos she follows the Zone Diet), a personalised yoga instructor, and "Anti-cellulite spa sculpting" treatments: $1,000 per session! Woah!
That's not like what I even spend in a year.

I also heard she's a fan of those "oxygen facial treatments," (as with Madonna) and I think Mario Badescu products? I think those were those products, I also read in a magazine, that she gets plenty of sleep and drinks plenty of water. (I heard it's heaps!)

She also likes Dr Hauschka products, and always starts off the day with a glass of warm water mixed with lemon juice.

Hope that helps! But you obviously need a lot of money to follow what she does. You can only follow a few things off that list.

Many celebrities take a HGF *human growth factor" shot at least once a month. what I read about it is that is gives the body a sort of rebirth of cells -- supposedly it works at $1,000-$1,500 an injection. Go for it if you can afford it.

Hi ESheep - and welcome!

And she probably gets a tax deduction for all that she spends on these goods and services - since they are being used to keep her employable.

Yup, partly true!
Kudos to electrocutedsheep for the best answer.
We all know celebs have lots of money & spend a bundle looking good and we know magazines airbrush pics.
I think Pumi was looking for types of products Jennifer uses.
Besides money, being single affords her the time to devote extra hours, that a working gal or Mom may not have - to keep her looks and health.
Nothing wrong with folks admiring "beautiful" people, the problem comes when society crosses the line to obsession - which I think it has.
For most of us here, you can't knock the "admiration" too much - or you could put yourself out of a job

Money gets you the best skin treatments, makeup artists, cosmetic surgeons, etc.

But yet it's funny how bad some of these celebs look when paparazzi catch them candid.
too! LMAO

I honestly think some of these sites that have before (w/o makeup) do a little photoshoping of their own to make some celebs look worse than they actually do. Adding bags, pimples, etc. I've seen a few that look obviously photoshoped to make 'em look worse. But most IMO are just like normal women. They look un-glamourous without makeup, then there is the end result on paper. PHOTOSHOP. I never thought Jennifer Lopez was anything special. Except maybe her [email protected]@. I'd kill for a booty like hers.
If you google early pictures of both Jennifers (before they were famous) they looked a LOT different than they do now. I can tell Jennifer Aniston had a nose job, and Jennifer Lopez also had one, plus the rest of her face looked different (remember her from "In Living Color"?).
I don't think she looks amazing for her age. I watched "The Bounty Hunter" last month and she looked good, but not amazing for her age. You can tell she's in her 40's.

Agreed, not to mention the pics are taken in unflattering lighting and most of the time the celebs are making unflattering facial expressions.
Jennifer Aniston names £1.99 Neutrogena soap bar as secret to flawless complexion | Mail Online

JA's secret to gorgeous skin is Neutrogena soap at £1.99 per bar. Or so it says here.

Quick poll question - how many of us believe it????? Do we also believe that pigs can fly?
She also says she uses sunscreen and some mysterious serum* before her Dr. Hauschka cream. So it's really not JUST the Neutrogena soap.

* - could be even Nature Bisse Glyco Extreme for all we know
ah its a load of old bollocks if you ask me!! money will buy you all kinds of amazing stuff. JA looks pretty ropey sometimes with the Walter Matthau jowls happening and in other clips theyre gone. we have to remember films get airbrushed frame by frame in teh edit suite also!
I dunno, movies aren't as re-touchable, it costs $$$$$ to do that, like in Benjamin Button or X-men 3, where they did alter the faces with Fx. Jennifer doesn't even do high-Fx movies, more like romantic comedies with 10-50 million budget, thats not even enough to blow up some cars. I think it's on X-Men Special Edition bonus DVD commentary, they say that the less than 10 minute sequence with 2 digitally rejuvenated faces was the exxiest fx in the whole movie and they had like over 200 millions to spend.

Whateverrrrrrrrrrrr. Has she owned up to that nose job? Not that I fault her for it. Or did Neutrogena soap give her that new nose?

Maybe not directly, but could be that the money from endorsing their soap paid for the nose.

That or maybe she got a lifetime supply of that bar and now has a separate room at her place to store all those boxes.

She uses Skinmedica TNS Recovery, she quoted it in People Magazine as her favorite product. It's also on the Skinmedica website: SkinMedica Looks to the Future
