Last time (Jan-7, 2009) I went to my dermatologist, she applied liquid nitrogen to remove 2 age spots on my face.

After a few days, scabs were formed and they were gone after a few more days. Now I am left with some dark patches in the two areas. Sorry to say that they are much bigger than the original age spots.

Anything I can do?

I am hoping these dark patches will fade away in time.

I am now afraid to do anything more. It was just 2 dots before and now they are few small patches. The liquid nitrogen may have made it worse.

I think I will wait a while, maybe it will fade away. I'm discouraged, don't want to try new products for now.

This is my first time with liquid nitrogen. My ex-dermatologist used some kind of small electrodes to burn off the spots. The scabs (much smaller) will form, then fall off, all in a few days with no side effects.

I started this post to see if anyone here have experiences with liquid nitrogen.
