Really you liked it susy?? I thought it was completely useless. I saw the infomercial and bought it through my credit card. They ended up billing me all these extra hidden charges and I had to fight with them to take all the stuff back.

I hope they return me my money... it was a lost of time having invested in this make up type... I recommend at all that don't buy it... This is expensive, it is not a good product...

Ok to everyone who talks about hidden costs have to learn to read they say alot of things on the site and the answer to this is right infront of you well your ordering. Personally I haven't tried the project I just wanted to point out that it's right infront of you why it's happening since alot of sites do this they tend to say it but not quite direct.

so here it is the info right infront of you:

" WANT FREE SHIPPING NOW? Save $32.99 on shipping immediately! Make one easy payment of $ 229.90 and save $32.99! You will still get the 30-day risk free trial period and 100% Satisfaction money back guarantee. " btw this is checked off when you first get to the page so many weren't doing some reading and where quickly going through it.

and a note to everyone Infomercial's ALWAYS have bad return no matter how much they say they have a good return and quitting the product as well is terrible(Proactiv took 3 months) so keep that in mind when you order anything from a infomercial but I wouldn't be afraid to try things I mean something my work and nothing works for everyone so reviews for everything tend to be really iffy but please take into mind what I said I signed up to say this so I hope you read it ^^.

Much Love, Kitty

I'm glad I joined this forum. I tried to order Luminess Air online and my credit card was rejected three times. After reading some of the comments, I'm glad it was! Darn infomercials. I should've known it was too good to be true!

The infommercial is very convincing (as most are), but I won't buy something THAT expensive without thoroughly checking it out first. As a result, I ran across a thread with thousands of posts complaining about Luminess Air. I stopped reading after 2 or 3 pages, but the majority "liked the product," but "hated customer service." For those people who did not like the product, they could NOT get a full refund. People who rec'd the wrong makeup could not get an exchange. Broken machines were not replaced. Broken bottles of makeup were replaced, but for a $30 "mailing" fee (the makeup was "free" LOL).

IMO, knowing that an airbrush system is actually the true choice of makeup professionals and celebs, the real question is: Do you want to purchase from a company who has such terrible customer service, or would you rather buy from a more reputable supplier? Luminess Air is only popular because they've come out with an infommercial. There are plenty of other airbrush machines "out there" from which to choose without having to deal with the nonsense.

Just a follow up to my earlier post: Having contacted Luminess for information -- but not to make a purchase, I guess my phone number was automatically logged into their database. Now, I'm being inundated with phone solicitations from their company! "Why don't you want to purchase...?" and "We have a special low price just for you to try for 30 days..." etc. When I tell them I STILL don't want their product, they say things like, "Even when we'll let you try it for FREE for 30 days?" I'm, like, "Yeah, even for FREE, because FREE means you'll stick me with a shipping fee I can't get out of when I try to return the product to you," yadda yadda. I've told them twice now to take my phone number off of their solicitation list, but, still, they keep calling...

Really BAD business practices.

Honestly I am shocked to hear that everyone is having such a bad experience with the luminess air customer service. When I first got my airbrush I was very excited and opened up the box, watched the DVD, and plugged my system in. I was ready to go! I tried all four of the little foundation shades that they gave me and to my dismay they were all just way to dark. I spent too much money on this, and was too excited about having my very own airbrush to not have the right shade. I had ordered the tan makeup kit that they have, and as a Caucasian woman I would consider myself tan so I thought that I picked a good choice with that foundation family. So I called customer service, and told them that the colors that I had were just too dark and since they were too dark the airbrush was no use to me. The representative that I spoke to was extremely helpful, and she told me that Luminess GUARANTEES a true color match. At this point I was thinking yeah at what price? The representative sent me out two new bottles for FREE, yes for FREE and I did not have to return the darker shades. The representative told me that I can keep them on reserve just in case I get a litter darker. I have never heard of a such a thing. When I got the two lighter bottles I found my match! My makeup mate for life, they call it foundation shade F4. I call it "Mila in a bottle!" I have honestly never had anything else match my skin so well in my whole life, and I am 47 years old. To all the people who are claiming to be having bad experiences with customer service, I am sorry, because I have never been treated so well by a customer service team before. They made me fell like a person on the other end of the phone, not just some account information on their computer screen. Way to go, and thank you for helping me find my perfect color! Interesting that this is your first post and that your IP address shows you are located in Houston TX.... the same city as the Luminess Air company. Coincidence?

I guess that people from Houston cannot like the Luminess Airbrush without being slandered. This is really sad. I love my airbrush, yes I am from Houston, but I am a Christian School teacher at a Baptist Church on the North side of town.

To answer your question....Yes it must be concidence, as that is exactly what it is.

I was honestly just here looking for makeup tips....and now I am totally discouraged from spiteful comments since someone had the courage to blog stating that they LOVE the product.

If anyone out there has a luminess, has actually tried it, and wants to share some makeup tips please email me at [email protected]

Hmmm, you share the same IP address as the user "cfolk10" who also has been posting about the luminess airbrush product. Also a coincidence???

This product didn't work as advertised. It spilled/splattered immediately when trying to use. When returned for credit, company originally offered to refund of $376 of $408 that was charged my credit card. Then proceeded to issue a credit of $297 when product was returned. When called to ask why $79 was removed from alleged credit back to me, they claimed that entire product was not returned, it was. Over multiple calls they continued to insist product wasn't returned, stating they'd rather deal with texas attorney general. They will be. They also claimed that the u.s. Post office commits mail fraud all the time taking things from packages and resealing them prior to delivery. That their warehouse workers, who are hard working texans that work in the warehouse with no air conditioning would never make a mistake, or take part of the product when opening returned packages.

When you return a product, it seems to me, that you are responsible for getting the product back to the company and if it is lost or damaged the carrier would be responsible not the company you bought this from. The blame game is silly. Adults take responsibilty for their actions. FexEx lost my package and I had to file a form for Luminess to send to FedEx to get my product reshipped. It took about two weeks and FedEx rejected the claim but Luminess believed me and reshipped the product again to me. I am now a happy user and get consistently good customer service.

Before we can take your posts seriously, you'll have to be upfront about who you are instead of hiding behind multiple user names.
