Tried Luminess. Hated it. Not only were all the colors orange and too dark for me (I bought the lightest color set), but the makeup stayed wet and tacky all fricking day. It NEVER dried. In the Maryland humidity, I decided, no way. Plus, the results looked no better as far as coverage than my mineral powder foundation. And (as if the above isn't enough), it takes a lot of time to airbrush and clean everything and it's just a huge hassle. It only takes me 2 minutes to whip on my mineral powder and cheek color as well. So, if after reading this, any of you STILL want to buy Luminess Air, I wish you all the luck in the world. Lisa

I have proven this product... the truth didn't give me result ;( , the fundation is very unreal... this marked the pores and the wrinkles very much... I have returned It... I hope they return me my money... it was a lost of time having invested in this make up type... I recommend at all that don't buy it... This is expensive, it is not a good product...

Now I am looking for as crazy a fundation, can be liquid, in cream or mineral... that it really fulfills their function... "TO COVER IMPERFECTIONS... "
If some of you can recommend me some... please warn me...
thanks....i was thinking of purchasing this product...it's not cheap either...glad I read your comment first

Years ago I bought an airbrush gun at a craft store and have used that with regular drug store make up to apply my makeup. It was a trial and error in the beginning but now I can do my whole face in 5min and it was so much less expensive and I get flawless coverage every day. Check your local craft stores or online craft stores before you buy this product. Just my 2cents…

Huh! Nice idea! Do you need to thin the foundation quite a bit?
Hi Fawnie,

I mix a little of my moisturizer in with the foundation. I use two drops of foundation and one drop of moisturizer. When I am done I rinse my airbursh with water and spray until water comes out clear. Iâ€2122ve had this thing for ages and itâ€2122s still working.

Hi Egyptsun
I just bought my luminus air last week - I haven't used it yet -I was wondering what brand of make up you bought from the drug store for using in your air brush? also the moisturizer - what brand? would greatly appreciate it - They would all have to be water base?
hoping to hear from you - what drug store you got it?

Just spent an hour searching reviews on luminesse = one long, Well Written poster admitted that she was a professional copy-writer and the company had contacted her to write mass, very positive reviews anywhere on the web. She said Luminesse made this common practice and was also NOT willing to send her the product so that she could actually give a truthful review. I found it using google "reviews luminesse".

I love my Luminess Air. It takes a little practice, but once you master the technique it's great. My skin looks great. I'm 62 years young and look 45. Shern

I'm really likingthe coverage I'm getting from Dior Nude. I have age spots and they can't be completely eradicated with makeup but I'm extremely pleased with how it looks. I use a primer before foundation as well....let it dry a couple of minutes before using foundation.

I just googled Luminess ~ that's how I found the site. I'm interested in getting that look but I'm glad I found this site. I'll look elsewhere.

Any suggestions from anyone on a good airbrush system?

I'm still waiting to get my hands on this foundation. For anyone who has used it: is it glittery or glowy? I hate those little sparklies in my foundation and would pay BIG MONEY to find one without them!! It seems like everything has them!!! Except my trusty MUFE Face and Body.
