Gosh, I'm sorry but I get so overloaded w/ info. when reading that it's hard to figure out what is best! Last question (for today) is if anyone uses vitamin C at night w/their retin a? I'm just thinking that I can't wait 20 minutes in the morning to wait for my vitamin c to sink in and before I do my makeup--no time! should I do it at night instead? I buffer my retin a and am confused if I should mix the serum w/ retin A or put it on then wait 20 minutes to put on retin a. I'm just afraid of cancelling out the effects of these products! BLAH!

No problem! That's what the forum is for!
Apply C serum first, wait 30 min, apply retin-a. Since both are acids, watch out for irrritation. If your C serum has HA and/or glycerin you shouldn't need to buffer as much since these should give you some moisture and protection from the retin-a.

HTH!
