can anyone tell me briefly what i am to do at this initial stage... do you post replies on introductions to build up your credibility? how do you make contacts when you cannot send mail directly? i'm a little lost, so a guiding hand would be appreciated..

You can post wherever you want. There is really no "initial stage," if you have a question ask it in the appropriate forum, if you've got an answer to a question post it up as well. It's really not that complicated.

I know what you mean, blaze. I don't usually do this type of thing, internet networking, I mean. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter.... none of them ever interested me enough to actually invest my time and energy in it. It took me some time to get used to things here, but now I think I've figured it out. I just played around with it. You can start a conversation, or just select the topics that interest you and if you have a question or comment, feel free to share. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
