can anyone tell me briefly what i am to do at this initial stage... do you post replies on introductions to build up your credibility? how do you make contacts when you cannot send mail directly? i'm a little lost, so a guiding hand would be appreciated..

You can post wherever you want. There is really no "initial stage," if you have a question ask it in the appropriate forum, if you've got an answer to a question post it up as well. It's really not that complicated.

I know what you mean, blaze. I don't usually do this type of thing, internet networking, I mean. Myspace, Facebook, Twitter.... none of them ever interested me enough to actually invest my time and energy in it. It took me some time to get used to things here, but now I think I've figured it out. I just played around with it. You can start a conversation, or just select the topics that interest you and if you have a question or comment, feel free to share. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. I'm new here too, but I'll do my best, or refer you to someone. Don't worry, you'll get used to it in no time!! Enjoy your time here with us.
