Welcome salemangela.
My son had very bad acne when he was in his teens. I didn't realise how much it bothered him until I took him to a dermatologist who asked him to rate out of ten how much the acne affected him. He said 9! The dermatologist then recommended 'Roacutane'. He said it had side affects and yet my son was OK with it all and started on the tablets. His acne cleared up and He was very happy. This was quite a few years ago. He has since lost a lot of his hair which was one of the potential side affects. Whether it was from the Roacutane or not, who knows (I have a brother who lost most of his hair when he was still young). My son says He doesn't care, he was glad to get rid of the acne. Anyway this is getting rather long. What I want to say is I have since found out about 100% Tea Tree Oil. It is harvested here in Australia and works really well. You dab the oil straight onto the pimples and it dries them up. I suggested it for a friend in the US. She said it has been great for her son. It's a more natural way to go. It' a big issue I know.
