Hi, i'm new here so I apologize if this has been asked before. Don't we need some sunlight-or is it possible to get all your vitamin D from diet?

Hi @jdb9292 , Welcome to SCT.

Our bodies cannot manufacture Vitamin D except with the sun's help - especially when the sun is high. Only a small amount of Vit.D is required by our bodies daily (at least 4000iu) to synthesize calcium absorption & you can get this from supplements bcos rarely is enough derived from food.

Other that that, I personally believe sunlight is necessary for a fulfilling life - which is why sunblock/sunscreen is important to minimize UV Aging + Burning ...
