following Chocowhite on the peau jaune train. Using it for 2 weeks so far and I love it so much!

So other than now practicing patience. My skin have been slowly getting there

UNDERTONE TALK….
i realise that whilst my skin “appears” yellow undertone, it’s actually more of a peach undertone…maybe neutral even. I blush easily, my nose easily gets red and my skin becomes red if I scratch it (I’ve always had this problem). When I use Fenty 330- in natural light it seems to match well but at night with flash, my neck/chest which is 310 looks more peachy than my face with Fenty 330 (golden undertone) so it’s an odd match.

So was going to swatch the Fenty 320 which had peach undertone (but I’ve now heard it’s very orange and I’m still yellow toned). So I will try the 335 as that is more neutral. My goal is 310, but I’m taking a break from my neck/chest/face as these are lighter atm.

for my body - it’s been lightening up and is and since it’s winter it has time to catch up before I ditch the thick black tights.

I’ve been mixing peau jaune. No bad side effects so far except for some skin thinning (I’m becoming more easily red) so on weekend I take a break and use a mix of palmers body lotion, therapy oil and avocado oil and it helps a lot alongside my supplements. I also use a mild exfoliation LA spray daily (except weekends)

i shouldn’t have slept on peau jaune! It smells nice too…..not too sickly sweet and not a strong chemical smell. I’m actually thinking to also mix in the lotion too, or is that just an overkill?🤭🤭

***Edit: actually I just bought the peau jaune strong lightening oil - I am due to making another batch of my lotion and I will mix this in as well.

Body lotion
1/2 peau Juane body cream
1/2 peau jaune stage 2 serum
1/2 tube of 1% madacassol (for skin repair & soothing)
2 tablespoons of bio oil
*Now - 1/2 strong lightening oil

Face: previously golden face cream mixed with bio oil, avocado oil and cerave night cream
Now using F&W So White tube cream (EU version)

my goal (during summer)

hey girll can i ask what you use on your face and what you use on your maintenance stage. loving your results queen
Thank you! I was using golden face cream before, but I think it contains steroids Bcos it made my face so hairy! So I switched to So white tube cream by fair and white (EU version - no HQ) and that’s been doing a good job of continuing to lighten me, more evenly actually. I use it like 3x a week for maintenance

Sure this is what mine looks like - the cream was sealed but the lid was not even closed properly so it was a bit messy and the serums box had red border that said “super lightening” and stage 2. Stage 2 is not written on the bottle it seems

You look so good, maybe it’s me but I actually think you are lighter than your goal.

I’m considering using the so white tube, how many shades would you say it’s able to lighten & also which undertone do you feel it gives x
Oh thank you! I feel like I suffer abit from lightorexia because sometimes I feel SO dark.
Tbh I think so white is better for maintenance, It has maintained my complexion whilst using it but my skin is more uniform and toned. I would say it’s more pale toned. Whenever I want to lighten a bit more I use my golden face mix since it works faster

Girl I think we all do. I still feel so dark all I see is brown when I look in the mirror that I feel that the iPhone is lying to me when I take pics

I’m in the UK & I tried their glutathione range, it was gentle on my sensitive skin but over time it darkened me. Nevertheless I liked how even my skin was and I love that one can trust the ingredients and use it long term

do you think that it could lighten over time? Or one could mix with the serum and gel and lighten?

Omg same! All I see is brown but iPhone and my reflection from car windows says “WHIITTEEE” 😂

That’s a good question actually, I think it could deffo lighten overtime - but may be better if mixed with a so white gel for some kick! I find it more trusty for long term use Bcos God knows what all these other hidden ingredients can do in the long run.

Hi, if it's not a bother, can you share a picture of the Fair & White so white tube cream you use. I am in my maintenance phase, thanks.

So I’m dealing with this too. How do you gauge with your real color is? Lightorexia really is a thing. I look a certain way in certain lighting.

😂😂 for me the secret is, set your foundation goal - mine is 310/335 Fenty/ syacruse in NARS, NC42/NC43 in MAC NO LIGHTER. Tbh I pick up/or order loads of little pot samples of foundations to test where I’m at. If it looks natural and blended in natural light AND on flash camera (Bcos flash is the enemy) then that’s your colour (i swatch it on my face, and my leg/arms too). That’s the only way really Bcos lighting really does affect how your skin looks but it’s not that your skin tone is changing every second of the day so as long as that foundation looks natural in all types of lighting then that’s your colour and I don’t get foundations that look lighter than me, if I’m truly an NC42 then I shouldn’t have to wait for it to “oxidise” and to bronze up my face before it’s obviously my skin match.

if NC42-NC44 is lightskin, and I’m an NC42/NC43 then….I’m lightskin regardless of the lighting lol

UPDATE;

for my face, neck and chest, and my arms - I’m at my goal of syacruse. I tried Tahoe and that was too orange tbh.
I think it’ll take some months for the rest of me to catch up, currently my body is at Cadiz and there isn’t as much of a stark difference.

Anyway wanted to also show how lightening can really make you see yourself differently in the same day. The first one is giving - typical bleacher 💀 the second one is giving - GLOW ✨ and the third just isn’t giving anything but I think it looks a bit darker. Ar night, my lightorexia kicks in real bad Bcos I swear I’m still so dark.
NARS Aruba (NC42 with more neutral/olive undertone) on the left, syacruse (NC42/NC43 with more golden) on the right.
