Hi, I am new to this forum - so: hello, again, and thank you for having me.
I recently made a recipe for a DIY serum. Turns out, the Aloe Vera juice I used had citric acid in it, so my pH is at 4.5. I've re-ordered some without citric acid, but in the meantime: do I need to adjust this to get the most ingredient benefit or is it OK as is? If I do need to adjust it, what is the best way for a DIY gal who doesn't have NaOH on hand? If it helps to answer my question, here is the recipe I used:
Aloe Vera Juice 49.5% 14.03g
Sea Kelp Bioferment 15% 4.25g
Seamollient 15% 4.25g
Niacinamide 5% 1.42g
Licorice Root Extract 5% 1.42g
N-Acetylglucosamine 3% 0.85g
Green Tea Extract 2% 0.57g
Panthenol 2% 0.57g
Sodium Lactate 2% 0.57g
Germaben 1% 0.28g
Hyaluronic Acid 0.5% 0.14g

Thank you so much!

Wow. Over 500 views and no one replied. Did I do something wrong? Was my question stupid? Should I not have posted the recipe? Is there something on my face?
