Hello! New here from Oz.
Very curious as to how much I can learn from joining this. I do have one problem I would like to open for discussion: Currently I use an epilator for EVERYTHING. Apparently hair shouldnt grow back for a few weeks, but i find myself epilating every 3 days for my armpits because of instant regrowth (everywhere else is fine though, which is odd). Also theyre quite dark now. Am I doing something wrong? I thought epilating was good for dark armpits coz it takes out the roots too?
Hmm...i could be misled haha

I've never tried an epilator. Usually I stick with waxing and you're right, it's best to have the hair in the underarms pulled out so the roots come out too. Otherwise you end up leaving small bits of hair in the skin and it gives the underarms a dark appearance.

Everyone has a different rate of hair growth. I know some of my friends who are like you and their hair starts growing back almost the next day. Maybe you can try having your underarms waxed professionally and see if that helps. The other option would be laser hair removal.

Epilators are great for arm pits. They remove the hair from the root and so actually do the same job as waxing but without the messy wax. After time (maybe a few months) the hairs should become a lot finer, will grow more slowly and will also lighten up. You just have to give it time. You should also use an exfoliating glove to prevent ingrown hairs from developing.
