Try photography stores. HQ is also used in photography, and some stores sell 100% powder HQ for a great price. You may want to learn how to compound first, though.
Hi, photography stores in Canada do not sell them, this is banned. Anyway of getting it shipped without customs refusing it at the border? I have been learning how to compound too, that is my plan.
I live in Canada too. It is NOT outright banned at all. In OTC preparations, it has to be <4%. With a prescription, pharmacies compound it in up to 20% concentrations.
Photographer's supply shoppes sell it raw as it is essential to photo development as a reducer. I live in QC & I got mine from a photographer with a studio here. Check yr area for these places. Hobbyists get theirs from them too. Kodak make a good one.
Thanks for the replies everyone. I will to find a photography store that sells chemicals. Do they generally ask why you are buying the chemical? Are there regulations?
Not always somethings aren't reinforced @ customs.
