Hello, I just want to know, does the old skin need to flake off before you get new and lighter skin? Because I am using this cream right now and My face is really flaking. thanks.

YEP! It most certainly does. Pre-existing melanin does NOT 'bleach'. While the flaking is annoying, it will reveal new lighter skin whose melanin is less concentrated due to the cream. Hang in there?
