I have these red bumps on my back and they are mainly on the right side. At first i thought they were blackheads but i couldnt pop them. They have been on my back for years. Can someone identify them and help me to treat it?

I get back Acne every now and again. I usually have my husband pop any imperfections and then rub on Benzoyl Peroxide. I find that the bumps go away the more often I am out in the sun and water.

they arent painful. they are about the size of the tip of an unsharpened pencil. i havent tried poping them lately but they seem pretty solid. They are mostly on the right side of my back . i would say they cover about 10 percent of my back.

Meanswing, those are definitely not acne lesions. What you seem to have is a tendency to produce fibrous accumulations, which can even have a genetic origin. As you don't know the causes or the possible implications of your problem, don't wait for more lesions to appear: look for a dermatologist, find out what is producing those bumps, and treat them once and for all!
