Red Complexion?

2401 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Sithways
I have A reddish complexion, I have not always had it. I am 31 now and it probably first surfaced when I was around 20 years old. What I would like to know if it is possible to correct this. Even when it is cold and overcast outside I still have it. People always tell me sunblock, but it is so greasy, oily and smelly I cannot really stand it. Would anybody know of any creams that might help with this? Also I heard some where about a inexpensive laser surgery, that might work, but I did not catch the name of it. Or how much inexpensive really it. Any help will be much appreciated!!

Thank you in advance!

Sounds like rosacea to me. If so, you need to manage your triggers. Alcohol, strenuous excercise, spicy foods can all agravate your condition. I know there is no cure for rosacea, but it can be managed with certain cosmetic treatments such as IPL other light based devices.
I appreciate you getting back to me. I looked up the symptoms of Rosacea and besides the constant rosy hue to my face, I do not have any of the other symptoms. I have not had any form of acne on my face ever. So with this in mind would you have any other suggestions?

Thanks for the time!
