I'm writing because over the last few weeks, I've started to develop some red pores on my face very close to my nose.
I've always had pores ( I will refer to them as "craters" from now on) in this area, but I could never see them, unless my nose was literally touching the mirror. Well, recently they've become really red an noticeable. This is really bothering me because they're not pimples or blemishes. THey are craters that for some odd reason, all of a sudden, decided to show up and become red.
About 5 weeks ago, I started working and living on a campground. When I got here, I decided to try a new face wash and moisturizer. Well, after a few weeks, these craters started to come, so I stopped using both products. The moisturizer was a "dove" facial moisturizer with self-tanner. It wasn't oil-free and felt really greasy when I put it on, so that may have something to do with it?!? So I went to the store and immediately bought the products I had been using before hand. "Aveeno" products (clear complexion face wash and an oil-free daily moisturizer w/ blemish treatment). This has made things somewhat better, but it's really hard to tell at this point.
One more thing I want to mention is the water I've been showering with. THe water at the campground contains A LOT of iron. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I did have a huge break out on my forehead a few days ago. I never get pimples on my forehead so this is what led me to the water. Could this have anything to do with the craters?
Does anybody have any suggestions/ help for me? How long will it take for these to go away? I need all I can I get!
go to sephora and ask for samples with cleansers with AHA,you could also use a cleanser with both AHA/BHA dermaDOCTOR has a good one... but it seems as if you might have rosacea or a skin disorder, consult with a dermatologist first
