There is a deep inner Devil that turns on his boiler and heats up my skin is all because I'm not enjoying life? Ok, but..

What are the real facts?
Do people that suffer from this redness have anything in common?

How do Antihistamines (otc) play a roll?

Who is the guy that told everyone its because were uncomfortable?

Why can't i being self conscious and have skin that does not react this way?

Wish it was possible to know all these things Detred. I have heard facial redness called the 'curse of the Celts' because apparently it is common amongst people of Scots and Irish descent. . . . unfortunate if you are one of them. I wonder if it's something to do with one's cooling system. Also have heard that there is some kind of pulse light treatment that seals off the capillaries just below the skin, so of course they cannot fill with blood and make us look flushed. I know that whenever I drink coffee I get a flushed face within minutes - I believe caffeine overstimulates the blood supply to the face as well as everywhere else. Good luck in finding your solution.
