Rosacea

Hi everyone, Yes Rosacea is a cruel joke. I just figured I would have a porclean face when I reached my forties and look beautiful. Oh no, my face was constantly 'red'. I tried everything. Then I was looking through a magazine one day and there was my face (on someone else). I was shocked, I had exactly what was on her face. I was mad and depressed at the same time.

Well, off the the dermatologist, and topical creams etc. Now, I'm on medication and if I forget to take it I break out.

The interesting part is what you eat also affects your skin. No yogurt, I love yogurt. Not anymore though. Coffee, well I won't give that up. I have one in the morning with my breakfast and I'm happy. Hot spices is another issue.

Make up does a great job of covering up Rosacea thank goodness.

Hi Martha!
I'd love to have time for a morning walk, but alas trying to find time before getting my girl to school and trying to cover my face doesnt leave me much time...

I used to be an exercise addict, but in recent years it has just made it worse...

I like to meditate when I can... this helps...

But for me the breakouts are directly related to my relationship with my husband... and not so easy for me to leave, cos I have nowhere to go (lack of family and support network) and all of our finances are tied up in our business, so I don't have independent finances to leave...

Sorry if I'm seeming to be playing the blame game, but it's a long story... hubby has unresolved childhood issues and he needs therapy - which he has been reluctant to do as he fears his issues and behaviour will only worsen initially, and from my knowledge and discussions with our family doctor it will...

I've helped him constantly for the 10 years and so have invested a lot, but I'm exhausted from it, so I think my skin is completely over it - it's time to take care of me for a while... I've been his 'mom' for long enough, it's time for him to get his own help...

At the moment my goal is to get my skin as healthy as possible so that I can return to the paid workforce and get a 'real job' - but I'd love to have my skin better first as I have little to no self-esteem left and the thought of interviewing like this just stresses me...

Sorry to dump my life story here!
If you guys separate, don't you automatically get half of his assets including half ownership of the business?
