Looking good keep it up , what’s the ingredients for new light oil
So my routineI find that simplicity is best when creating a routine. Cleanse, exfoliate, lightening product, moisturize and sunscreen
Chemical exfoliation works better. Lactic acid, mandelic acid, glycolic acid, kojic acid. Using a scrub mit can aggravate your skin too much. I use it rarely on my face but that's more for when I'm peeling and just need a little extra something to get the skin off. Definitely great for using on the body especially harder parts of your skin.
It takes time to see results. If there's no change in 3/4 months I'd change the products being used or look at adding in products
Use sunscreen always, everyday
Thanks 😊 👍Your results are nice and very natural! Keep it up!
I've not used anything on my lips. I have on some nude lipstick in the last photo. I will be trying lactic acid to lighten them a bit. Heard hq won't work on lips and can burnYou looking amazing- natural looking results. Do you use the same mixture on your lips? Thank you for being very forthcoming
No problem at all 😊I will say, thank you for sharing your regimen and not gatekeeping. Some of what you listed I never heard of before, and I’ve been on this forum for a long time lol.
see what I just replied to below 😊You look amazing , skin looks so soft and natural . What did you use on your lips?
Hi, I’m a longtime lurker. Your post is the first one I’ve seen with real pic proof results, full routine, and not gate keeping products. So I've been on this lightening journey for some time now. Mostly to remove a perma tan and just create even skin tone. One of the hardest things is finding what products work and the answer is most do and it really does come down to trying different products. Some will work for you that don't work on other people. Simply because all skin is different and have varying levels of sensitivity. Read the ingredients and learn which ones to avoid is incredibly important. Knowledge is everything so definitely do your research.
I'll share some key points. (My own experience)
So my routine
Before I started with any lightening agent I was using a lactic acid lotion few weeks before. This was homemade. I used e45 but it had carbomer so it was super runny. There's loads of recipes for diy lactic acid lotion. It's absolutely amazing for preparing your skin.
I hate gatekeepers so here's all that I use.
Evening
Kojie San Kojic acid soap - ebay
Lactic acid serum (Boots own brand) or mandelic acid (The ordinary)
A ret gel 0.1% - ADC
Melamet cream - ADC
Nivea soft moisturizer -Boots
Morning
Nip and fab charcoal and mandelic cleansing pads - think it was B&M in store
Skin light cream - ebay
New light oil (mixed in palm with skin light cream) - ebay
Sunscreen (I use Boots soltan once spf 50) -boots
I am only lightening my face, chest and arms as my legs match my face now. I will be trying the Asantee papaya soap and possibly trying a different hq cream soon. I started in November 2022 and this is my skin currently March 2023. I do an update on my arms once they progress more.

First pic is today. Second November last year
Thank you 😊Great results!
The carrot and vit eLovely results.Did you use the skin light carrot and vit E or Cocoa butter please.
I'm not entirely sure on the percentage, the seller did know either. It's always a mystery most times. The prescription hq creams always have the percentage soI guess they'd be the most trustworthyI've used the skin light cream and was so turned off because it had petrolatum in it. I hate that stuff. Do you know what exact percentage of HQ is in the skin light cream? I've heard rumors that it's like 6% but you know they say never believe rumours. You are very well educated I can see. You know your stuff.
