skin lightening pills ??

anyone know if any skin lightening pills work? What about the ones from that skinbleaching site?

there isnt any such thing as a skin lightening pill (or at least one that actually works). the principal behind how they work are valid but when you use the pills you dont see the results that should be happening. its hard to know exactly why that is. there are so many theories and opinons.

glutathione is the main active in most of the lightening pills. you can google what is is exactly and how its suppose to whiten the skin. you will find medical sources that says it lightens the skin but commerically it hasnt been a very successful suppliment for lightening. i read on the old brighter skin forum that you need to increase glutathione production in the cells for it to work and not just suppliment glutathione which increases the glutathione in the blood.

the link has a list of suppliments that is suppose to encourage glutathione production. i dont know if its valid or weither this proposed method actually works but i would personally think not. there are alot of pill lighteners with b/a pictures but usually the used pictures of people who used topical lightener or they have pictures where there are two totally different people that look idential. becareful.

Thank you so much for the helpful information. The celebrity pills look kinda bogus actually. I will do some more research on this before throwing away any money.

definitly, I heard all that glutathione does is create more sulfur in the blood and suppress the iron in the body giving you a yellowish tint (so low iron, an anemic glow??) I dont know...anyway I ask my derm and she knew of no way of lightening the skin internally.

yea when i first heard about skin lightening pilss i was all excited. i think it was on a website called asianwhiteskin. anyways i think theirs cost like around $150 and up. luckily i did some research on it. most ppl say it doesn't work. i saw very few ppl who said it actually works unless they work for asianwhiteskin...

yeah. i did reasearch about 3 weeks ago about lightening pills. i was so excited also but it was hard to tell if someone was a sneaky spammer , someone who had a positive experience but are seeing results that may not be present or the real deal. nothing would make me believe these pills work short of seeing proof but them again people can digitally enhance pictures, or people can use topical products and pass the results off as pills.

do not buy all those pill.... i've tried that gluthatione pills... nothing change... ive tried for allmost a year.... but nothing .... even a shade... try other never use this pill...

im sorry about your experience with whitening pills. thanks for letting us know what happened to you. usually when people experiment with products that take months to see results they dont report back and im greatful to you for sharing your experiences after a whole year. thanks

I am a bit wary of skin lightening pills - I would just rather apply a skin lightening cream

queeling there's ivory caps and jarrows glutathione, but it might be gradual lightening & to a certain extent depending on what shade you currently are
