If your body is more acidic than alkaline, it could be the reason you're having skin problems. Check out this article: Acid or Alkaline?
I'm not affiliated with that group, but I found their article to be very informative.
I will start posting more information about this soon in my blog (http://skincareteacher.blogspot.com), because I think it's very important. I've been taking coral calcium and it's been working great for me. It helps the body stay more on the alkaline side than the acidic side.
