Skin Toner

You can make your own homemade skin toner by making mixture of 2 tblsp of cucumber and 2tblsp of carrot juice. This is an excellent toner for the skin, especially during winters. Vodka makes a good pore-tightening astringent toner for oily skin. To tighten skin pores, cover the body with a mixture of 2 pieces (slices) cucumber, 2 tblsp mint, 1/2 tsp lemon juice and 2 to 3 drops of vinegar.

Thanks daiyumi. I might try that. Is it better than a store bought toner?
I'm not quite sure. I'm just posting home-made remedies for people who want to try stuff at home. My guess is its probably as good as store bought ones.
oh okay. It might just be less trouble to buy it in the store then. toners are cheap anyways.
Hi there,

I have a great recipe for a home-made skin toner:

For an oily skin, mix equal amounts of white wine and lemon juice and dab on the skin. To make a facial scrub add enough oatmeal to the wine and lemon to make a paste.

Also, a good toner to restore natural ph balance to all skin types is just a teaspoon of cider vinegar in a glass of water.

Keep it in a sterilised glass bottle in the fridge for a few days.

Warmest regards,
