..dumb idea yes.. I left it on all night for a few nights which was really stupid. I ended up with what looked like a second degree burn from it the last night I did it and now its healed up pretty much, except for the fact that the skin is really red there. I don't want it to scar but I'm afraid its going to stay red like it is.. does anyone know what I can put on it to keep it from scarring?

The wart did fall right off btw and my skin was fine for the first two nights I put the alcohol on it, but on the third morning I woke up with the nasty blisters.

And I looked at the MSDS sheet for isopropyl alcohol but it says nothing about getting burns from it.


The skin is still a little sore so maybe its still healing under there.. at least I hope so.

It's pretty easy to get chemical burns from isopropyl alcohol. Best treatment would be either aloe gel or Bepanthen, both are good for skin healing.

Haha They are well.

But anyways, I had been putting bandages on that spot for a while and yesterday I decided to leave it off. Now its looking pinker so I guess its finally starting to heal up.
