You just need to do three simple things.

1. Stay out of the sun at it's strongest point. That's when the shadow is shorter than you are. Around 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

2. Use hats, long pants, and long sleeve shirts if possible as to not expose too much skin.

3. Use sunblock everyday. Apply it in the morning, right after sweating or swimming, and 8 hours after application.
