Hey everybody,

After searching through the internet and going to two dermatologists, thought I'd give this forum a shot.

For a few years, I've had this hard/glumpy rash skin between the bottom of my left jaw and chin. I usually get pimples on the area as well. The dermatologist said it was because of shaving and she injected cortisone twice and prescribed Benzaclin--of which either didn't help at all. I've even stopped using a razor, by now trimming the hair. I've tried using steamed heat as well to clean and tighten my pores, but it hasn't help either. Any ideas or product that would resolve this problem?

Did you tell your dermatologist that shaving was not the problem? That simple fact can imply a whole new treatment for you! The treatment you received was a strong one: cortisone is a steroidal hormone, and Benzaclin is a combination of benzoyl peroxide and antibiotics. Needless to say, if it yielded no results, then that was not the treatment for you.

As far as I can tell, you have only tried a few solutions on your skin, so it's a good time to look for a better treatment... or a better dermatologist. Don't take this lightly, because your condition has persisted for years; you'll probably need professional assistance.
