I found this cream yesterday, its good for spots and scars. Did some research online and found some great reviews.
I put it on my face last night and it felt like it was working instantly!! also put some on this morning and afternoon and i'm shocked by how quick the results are! my face feels soft and not greasy at all (i have very greasy skin), and looks lighter already!!! i dont have any spots at the moment but i have scars from old spots, a couple that were really red and they seem to have faded so quickly!!! This stuff makes your skin so soft but has a strong sandalwood smell as it has sandalwood oil in it, i quite like the smell but it is really strong!! i highly recommend it even though i havent even been using it a day yet!! but plan on using it forever now!!

That's great news, Rose. I am glad you found something that works!! Can I ask where you bought this product as I am very much interested myself? I have some acne scars on my face which I want to fade.

Thanks in advance.

Vicco Turmeric is a very popular cream in India, its apparently Ayurvedic so it shouldn't have anything harmful in there, if anything it does give the skin a nice golden glow / yellowish colour which asians seem to like as it gives the ' fairness ' impression. Hope you get the results you need.

I think its found in a lot of Indian shops because the formulation is an Ayurvedic recipe which is an ancient medical science from the Indian Subcontinent. Turmeric ( or Haldi as called in Hindi) is meant to have antiseptic properties hence Indians have long used this in face packs creams etc. The golden glow is probably comes from the yellowness of the Turmeric, and with regards to whether its good for fair skin - well as a medical cream it should be fine, but be careful you dont end up looking yellow. Probably more suitable for Indian skins as we have yellow instead of pink undertone, for example when I buy foundation or powder I ask for the ones with yellow base instead of pink.

yeah one is yellow and one is orange. . .the yellow one is better, i think so anyways. how is it working for you??
Sorry I took a longtime to reply. Just started using this cream a couple of days ago. I have to say, I'm quite pleased as it leaves my skin matte all day and I have always had oily skin issue. It is too early to report on my acne scars and sun spots though

I will keep you posted in about 1 month time.
Thanks for your recommendation.

Hi Rose,

Unfortunately I stopped using the cream. When I applied my sunscreen on top of the vicco , it just wouldn't absorb on my skin even after a lot of rubbing. My face would look a mess and I had a hard time wiping both creams off my face. So, I have switched to using facial oil as moisturiser.

I hope it's working better for u.

Speaking of Vicco Turmeric face wash is FABULOUS! I never tried the vanishing cream though. I like the strong sandalwood scent
I found it in a Indian shop 3 wks ago. its a little grainy, but it didn't irritate me. I was looking for something to wash my face with that would keep blackheads away, I'm prone to them even though I don't wear make-up. I want more of this brand.
