Omg. This.

Do you ever have days you wake up looking so light and then you catch a glimpse of yourself or see an actual light skinned person and your like nah, I gotta step up my game 😂
totally!!!
sometimes I feel like I'm caramel other times I'm like "nah I'm still brown af " than I'm also like "wow this shade felt so light before now it feels so brown"

if it wasn't for keeping track of my shades through make up foundations and before pictures
I would be confused as hell, and thinking I haven't lighten at all

I think most people track it down with foundation shades
I don't really like to use celebs because their tone fluctuates a lot because of multiple factors like season, lightening even hair color

the particular brand I use is sheglam from shein
shein.com/SHEGLAM-Skinfinite-Hydrating-Foundation-Chantilly-Flawless-Dewy-Foundation-Hydrating-Coverage-Invisible-Pore-Concealer-Poreless-Non-Greasy-Lightweight-Natural-Soft-Liquid-Foundation-p-12182241-cat-1868.html?mallCode=1
the reason I used this foundation is because it's very cheap so I can buy multiple shades and switch as I lighten
if I feel like I'm getting lighter I try one shade higher than my usual foundation if it fits perfectly I know I lighten a shade
I use this board to track it down
right now I'm shade Cappucino , my initial shade was around Russet and my new ultimate goal is Almond

cuppocino looks so yummy I thinks that’s my ultimate goal, I bounce around that but currently a mess, is your skin even and clear?

also I like light but rich tones, not pale, how do you ladies get that? I know using vitamin c topically does that so many natural lighters give a pale bleached look. Only HQ when used right gave me a bright yellow tone

yeah my skin is almost all even , my buttocks and tights were a problem but now they are even up nicely
I won't lie to you, my skin isn't super clear in the face
but I always had acne problems even with dark skin
but I will say my skin is like 80% clear so for my standards that's very good

about rich tones
I think multiple factors play in like your natural undertone and yeah the products you use and vitamins
I was super scared of getting the pale bleached look so I purposely always choose products that others told me it would give me a yellow tone
the products I used were mostly mitchell brand ones
carotis, precious and omic all of them gave me that yellow natural tone specially omic ,

vitamins I was taking was take msm in powder form with vitamin c crystals, nac, glutathione, pycnogenol and alpha lipoic acid but that was before
I ran out of vitamins 2 months ago so I've been only taking msm powder and vitamin c since, and I still have a pretty golden yellow undertone

I think a factor to not get that bleached look is not lightening too fast
I've been lightening very slow and steady so I think that's another factor that weights in , in looking yellow naturally
