I have a friend that I saw last night. She was complimenting me on my skin. She has the dark/ish liver spots all over her face, hands, arms, everywhere. She was asking me what to use to get rid of them. I only have one or two and I spot them with Retin-A every night and twice I've spotted them with TCA. I'm wondering what to advise her. It would seem to me she needs an all-over plan.

Any thoughts on a regime she can do?

just advise her to use hte REtin-A/HQ 4% combo together for 3 to 6 months (this preps the skin for the peel) so that her skin lightens up and the liver spots fade then after 3 to 6 months tell her to take a one to two week break from the Retin-A and do a TCA 18% or Glycolic 30% peel then after recovering for a week resume with the HQ/RA regimen. Liver spots are not hard to get rid of and if she follows this regimen she will have a clear complexion within a year max or 18 weeks.

Thanks, you guys. I did advise Retin-A, but wanted to see if you experts had any additional info. I knew you would!
