Let me know what you think of the Sheer Glow @hipvalleySo far the NARS All Day Luminous in New Guinea is my absolute fav! I just got the Sheer Glow in the mail. I bought it brand new on eBay for $6.98. Trying it today.
I have to thank you for the Sephora tip. I've been able to try so many things I've been wanting to try, and I'm a VIB member now! My face doesn't break out anymore because I'm using quality products. Hanging out over there has given me and my girlfriends something new to do. As soon as I get the hang of putting on eyeshadow, the world won't be able to stand me. Lol
My backup brand is Revlon ColorStay in Caramel, and Maybelline BB in medium/deep.
Nope. I asked @John-Dave and he knew all of the drug store dupes. I'm thinking of trying the MAC MatchMaster to see if that works for me. I like MAC Makeup but traditionally I haven't liked their base face products (foundation, powders, concealers).Let me know what you think of the Sheer Glow @hipvalley
Awwh so happy you are able to get samples and try lots of goodies. I love Sephora, I'm a VIP member as well, lots of great perks with that. Don't forget on your larger purchases they do have Friends/Family 1-2 a year. They will email you and or mail you a coupon when it gets close.
Did you use Findation.com to get your color shade with the Revlon and Maybelline?? If so, was it an accurate match?
Have you ever used Findation where you list your current foundation/shade and they match you to others?? So handy, plus it will give you locations of where to purchase.Nope. There's this sample I got from Sephora for Bare Minerals Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream (Chestnut-09) that I want to try out to see if this will work for me for the summer. I dont like heavy coverage in the summer. It gets too hot to manage and I'm constantly wiping my nose and my upper lip.
Ive been to that site. It's awesome! Most times they don't match me right though but it's usually only off by a shade or two. When I last looked, some products were dead on but the ones that were reddish in undertones were way off.Have you ever used Findation where you list your current foundation/shade and they match you to others?? LOL, yep, I hear ya on the summer wipe of the nose/upper lip. I think its become a horrible habit for me!!
@Swampstalker, go too Findation.com type in the foundations you do like and it will give you others that are similar. Give it a try. They even have drugstore brands, not all department store brands.I can never find the perfect foundationIt's either too oily, too dry, doesn't cover too expensive

Ya, their matching is definitely hit n miss for me too. I never give up trying though. I love trying and experimenting with new stuff all the timeIve been to that site. It's awesome! Agree. I have Bobbi Browns stick foundation. I like it. Great for when your in a hurry, swipe it on and out you go. Laura Mercier I wore for YEARS!! She has some great products. Great bronzers!!I like MAC, but I also use Bobbi Brown and Laura Mercier.
LMAO........@gymrat, see you done started it for real now!
I was cruising eBay and came across the Becca Luminous Skin Color in Cognac (lightweight) for $12.99. Its usually $42. I bought it. Now I have two more on the way. Its all your fault. I didn't know a thing about Becca until "somebody" told me Sephora had samples. Now when I see stuff on eBay that I have samples of, I buy it impulsively!
This is becoming a disease. My husband is not amused. You're gonna get me in trouble and I'm not going to be allowed to play with you anymore. LOL!
Im starting to really like the Becca line. That papaya color corrector is no joke!LMAO........
@hipvalley, Becca is my life, but I do blame ALL that on UtopianBeauty. You know how we roll around here, we will never take the blame, we always have another to pass that off too
I use Becca Backlight Primer, and I am so not a primer person. Tried so many, but this one, really works well. I also use the Shimmering Skin Perfector. I use it on my cheek bone, dab on my forehead, chin, above my lip (in the pout). I just dab it on with my finger, its one of my absolute favorite things to add once my face is all done. Love love love it!!
Here to make that shopping experience easier, I've added links

And you know the rule........treat makeup like new shoes, THROW THOSE BOXES AWAY and hubby won't even know you've added more to your arsenal :five:
Do tell ........who do you purchase from on eBay? A particular seller or just any that stock it?Im starting to really like the Becca line. That papaya color corrector is no joke!
I throw the boxes away before he sees, but I've gotten so bad I've had to buy one of those Walmart plastic cabinets on rollers to catch my overflow.
Omg, and the Becca products smell so good. A light floral with a hint of musk?
I tested the Luminous on my arm first and I was smelling it all day. if I keep buying on eBay I'm gonna mess up my points, but I did save about $90 on the 3.
@gymrat, I totally missed this post. The seller is cosmeticsauthority on eBay. They ship fast and the products are authentic. The pricing is really, really, good!Do tell ........who do you purchase from on eBay? A particular seller or just any that stock it?
Awwh are you a musk junky too?? Don't even get me started on those goods, musk is one of my favorites . Although I may score some bonus points with hubby if you were purchasing scents not makeup
