SThio you make a great point. Healthy skin for the whole body is important but as Rishi says ?the face matters since that?s what everyone sees?. What people forget and often neglect is their hands, which is often more telling of a person?s true age.

Taking care of our skin should be about taking care of oneself. A good reason for lack of attention to our body?s has to do with time. There are a lot of quick body skin care practices that can be added to showering or bathing that take no more time and certainly will make the experience more enjoyable.

Body scrubs, washes, soaks, salts, masks, oils, butters, lotions are all great ways to exfoliate, clean and moisturize giving the skin on our body a renewed look on life. Once we get into a routine, it will become something that is looked forward to and will help reduce the everyday stress we encounter. In fact, take the two extra seconds and light a candle and treat yourself to a home spa treatment - we all deserve it.

I think that the reason people tend to focus more on their facial skin is because you can always cover up body skin by wearing clothes. However, you can't cover up facial skin as easily?

Except in the summer more skin is shown. I think it is important to treat the whole body by wearing moisturizer, exfoliating and wearing sunscreen. Because in the end, if your face looks youthful but the rest of your skin, like on the neck, tops of hands and arms that looks wrinkled (damaged by sun) and sagging (from age), then it will be more apparent that only the face has mattered.
