Just wondering if everyone could share please there beauty tips and secrets, that perhaps kept your fine lines in touch and just made your skin picture perfect (so to speak!)

These are some of mine that I know, I can remember that rubbing lemon juice on blackheads can help clear these up, putting a handful of oats in a semi permeable cloth and taking a shower with it, this smells lovely and makes your skin so so soft! Also wear as little makeup as possible or if you cant do this at least try to take a days break from the makup! Warm up your moisturizer or foudation between two fingers or the palms of your hands, it will not only go further but give you a smoother apperance, also dont use a toner if you have dry, dehydrated skin!

Id be really interested in hearing some of your, thanks!!

I have a few things to share..maybe someone can benefit from these "tips",

1..I read in a magazine to use apple cider vinegar in your hair to make it shinier...i tried this last week and it works great!
2..I don't think this is a secret lol but I just discovered lash primer...it is the best invention ever! I use a great mascara(dior show) and didn't think I needed anything else but I got talked into a primer and the first day I wore it someone asked if I had on fake lashes

3..I have tried just about every body lotion out there. In high school I always opted for the best smelling lotions like victorias secret or bath and body works. I think we all know now that anything that smells that strongly is not really doing anything great for your skin. I stumbled across a very inexpensive lotion that has vitamin E and cocoa butter and aloe..it is by fruit of the earth and it works wonders!(even though unfortunately it does have some kind of fragrance and dye in it

Keep it simple ay, that and facial excercises as well I like it, and I know its more important looking after yourself from inside than all these creams etc, think im finally learning, well at least hope so, so do you guys not bother with facial peels, microdermabrasion treatments, cause been thinking what do I really get from going to the spa once in a while tHat I cant do at home? Or am I wrong to say that

NY, yeah! you're getting it!

Retin-A is a slow peel and vit C is the exfoliator. A microfiber cloth once a week will polish your skin of any flakies so that you do not need peels or microdermabrasion...unless you want them, of course!

Oh right I see, but microdermabrasion is just an intensivie exfoliante, so surely then unless you have very bad skin, by over doing it with things like peels and microdermabrasion you are just stripping it skins from its natural oils so in which incase its best to leave things alone, thanks for that one! I really appreciate all the advice thanks fawnie!!

Yeah, pretty much. I guess it all depends on: -
-how much money you want to spend
-how much time you want to give it
-how damaged your skin is to begin with

You could get a cosmetic dermatologist's consult to find out what the options are for your skin, but I think starting out with Green Cream, like you are, is a good way to start. Please read the advice on the Green Cream/AST board and join the forum there once you start with it...

ADVANCED SKIN TECHNOLOGY • Index page

---there are certain things they will walk you thru with it.

Yep certainly will do, my skin is actually touch wood in good condition , but yeah dermatologist will be good at some point, Can not do any harm, shame though the green cream is not available in UK though but thanks again fawnie I will def join forum!!
I have been using Anew Vit C serum (from Avon). I think it works great. I first apply it and then I use the Time Zone by Estee L.

Thanks for the lemon juice tip, NY. I have such a nightmare with my blackheads!!
Never tried it myself but just one I heard about, I got rid of myn though by going to my Beauty therapist she just picked them out in three sessions for me, yeah let me know how it works!! Also I dont know what cleansers you and if they are ok for oily skin or how toxin ingredients are but my skin is loving dermatological anti aging skin care pack I got the sample recently and my skin is so soft and normally its so dry!
For skin blemishes, you can try rubbing a raw potato on your face.
