I would be visiting an Opthalmologist one of these days so I'll use the opportunity to get an expert opinion. Another member used this method and reported his iris became hazel. http://www.skincaretalk.com/t/33840/dark-lips-magic-my-lightening-process.
I know honey has antimicrobial properties and has been used with success over the centuries to cure eye infections (like conjuctivitis) in the past, by soaking the honey/water mixture in a cotton bud and applying it on the eye lid, can also be used as an eye wash. Not sure about prolonged use...
Still I'll rather switch up my eye colours with contact lenses. Good luck though and be safe.

I feel more hesitant to put contacts into my eye all day so I don't really see why honey is worse.
Anyways, I just got an eye exam and my eyes were fine and I'd been putting the drops in for a few weeks.
I have another exam coming up because one of my contacts doesn't fit right so I will ask him if it's okay to get an official answer.
I think my eyes are lightening, but I think I should give it at least a month before I give a real verdict.

I really want to try this! keep us posted, I bookmarked the following which might help some of you. :)

Honey is not a strange thing. It has been used (and continues to be used) as a natural eye moisturizer and has been used to clear eye diseases.
Contacts, to me, are more strange to have in your eyes (especially for extended periods of time), but no one talks about those.
I mean, it's plastic, in your eye all day.
Either way, I put both contacts and honey in my eye and they're lightening (and not chronically dry, hooray!).

hello everyone! I am so excited I have been on my eye lightening journey for about a month and a half now and I am slowly starting to see results. My original eye color is a medium brown sometimes can look lighter in the sun or bright light, when I was younger actually my eyes were very light like cat eyes with specks of green but as I got older 6 or 7 my eyes got darker. What I use is Gunter's brand of honey from the farmer's market it is pure 100% all natural, and I also use raw organic honey which I believe is cheaper but still just as good, I live in the U.S so it is easy to find them in any grocery store. I mix in the honey AFTER boiling water in a cup and let it cool before I apply. I use it as much as I can throughout the day and I try to every hour and I change the mix every week and after every 2 weeks I take a 3 day break. I attached 2 photos of my progress and I will continue to post more pics after another month or 2 to compare any changes. Any questions feel free to ask. join me and let's all do this together!!
Has your vision changed?? I am contemplating on doing this, but I do not want to mess up my eyesight
