I haven't seriously entered the world of naughty-bits brightening just yet, but I have noticed certain things darken the area. (Disclaimer! I suggest the following from personal experience--not a SCT vet or anything) For one, you should begin by keeping exfoliated. That can be a delicate task because our... nether regions have very sensitive skin, but a gentle brightening soap like Likas papaya or a Dead Sea salt body wash can help get through layers of dead skin without unnecessary drying. Usually darkness down there is a build-up of dead skin from all the friction and *ahem* perspiring we do down there. Next, try an acidic lotion like a DIY lactic acid lotion with a low percentage (5% is good, no more than 10%). Rub around the area after washing to help the shedding process along. I have personally been so bold as to put a 12% Alpha Hydrox glycolic acid lotion suggested for feet along my bikini line, LOL. Not suggesting that at all, but it's... happened. :hehe: I got a lot of peeling after a couple of days so I stopped, but it was nice to see the darker, grey-ish skin peel. Those should help you get started and see if you need more aggressive methods for lightening. :p

Alright. Just remembered. Oh, and getting real here for a moment with terms... Lol. As far as the really, really intimate areas, Carotein lightening gel and serums are often touted as anal/vaginal/perianal products through some sellers. I have even seen Xtreme Brite advertised as the same. I would use them for that purpose, since they are mostly a blend of gentle brighteners, but I'm just not there yet. I've applied them externally with no adverse reactions even near the most intimate of areas, so personally I see no problem. However I can't say if it was super effective or not because it wasn't a point of interest for me at the time and I stopped shortly after. I would not suggest HQ in that area, though, since your crotch region is a major area for absorption due to the glands located beneath the skin. I put some Skin Light down there once, undiluted, and felt horribly ill with headaches all night. Go easy down there, basically. Lol ;)

I was in the drugstore last weekend and saw a product called Lactacyd. Apparently it's a feminine whitening wash. I went home and Googled it and it's popular in Malaysia and the Philippines. It contains LA and balances the pH down there. I had read an article a while back that the use of harsh soaps can interrupt the pH on private areas and cause the area to get darker (along with friction and other stuff). I think I'm gonna purchase it to try it out and see how well it works.

Don't use African Black Soap, especially that Dudu Osun, that stuff is rough on sensitive spots!!! I did that and I started breaking out like crazy, I was freaking out because I thought I had caught a STD, even though I wasn't active. Lol this will never leave SCT got it!

Like Chocolite said Any area that you want to lighten you need to exfoliate a mild % of la lotion will peel the area and after that you wash with a gentel Ph balanced soap., And introduce a lightener of your choice. :)... This you do  offcours several weeks later. &  the  mirror    yes  you need   a  Mirror! What are you afraid of Choco ?... LOL i have a very spec mirror that i use for this part alone every other day i take a look down there ,:hand: I have this obession with my vagina..It has to look fresh and clean LOL, So far my vagina   is  worth some serious :yum:

Dazzel LOL i have nothing to be ashamed of celebs introduced this ages ago, &
here we can talk openly about our private areas its not like you would tell this to a
"classmate" over lunch LOL things like this are keept private for a reason..
You call it "Anal bleaching at the salong here we call it, just that part..
But i have allways used a wash cloth to "clean my little flower".
I also use feminim ph balanced wash everytime i shower.

But it was a few weeks ago that i put a little of LA lotion on the area it peeled so much, i left it overnight.
Let it air dry...dont let the area get to much moist, put it on before bedtime and dont wear underwear.
I sleep in a oversized t-shirt i hate wearing underwear when im home LOL i find it uncomfortable.
The first time i put my la lotion it was A DIY and the % was a bit to much and i did feel a bit of
a sting but it went away quickly and so began my journey for a happier flower...
.LOL Im a proud owner of mine ). The peeling went so well!
I have not yet introduced a lightner . But if i will i plan on bying something
100% organic for my flower....Something mild not to harsh.
Ore Xtreme brite gel., ore DoDora Nipple Lightener.

Thank you Rose! I will now work towards my happy flower!

i just luv this place... i'm glad we're so open about all this... almost all of us suffer from this issue so why not help each other! so from what i've gathered so far... exfoliate (wash cloth/soap) , lactic lotion (overnight or before shower), and use some sort of lightener/brightener that's organic? i have so much build up... it's like imagine beyonce's face... and her nose being the color of Kevin heart...
Image
seriously! it's that dramatic... is there anyone here that's seen huge difference?

#36 ·
They will not name it   Amlactin they will name it  SCT FINAL BLEACHING FLOWER CREAM./  Haha  Kevin Heart ...  your "kevin" will turn into a "denzel" and then your "denzel" turns into that last dude.
OMG you're killing me here Rose. Those pics SAY IT ALL!!! LMFO! Is that Rihanna in your avi? Is she touching her flower or just applying some SCT final flower bleaching cream? Hehehe.

Dunno if there's a difference yet cuz I'm yet to buy my spec mirror... Will probably use the money I would've on sunscreen lotion since I'm not gonna be needing that anyways. Lolololol.

I won't advice using a wash cloth to be honest, except it was a disposable one, maybe I'm finicky like that but they actually increase a risk of infection. Fortunately mine's not dark, wait lemme go look for a pic...and my nipples were a fair honey brown but I noticed la lotion made them paler I'm hoping it can also work some magic down there, lol Sent from my iPhone 5

#38 ·
Lol @ going to look for a pic. My flower was nice and light brown but it got very dark during pregnancy. For some reason, this is very common in women of color during pregnancy. Smh. You're right about the washcloth peobably increasing the risk of infection Floreezy. I think this only happens if the same washcloth is used over and over again and if it touches the softest most delicate areas of the flower. Walmart sells a whole stack of washcloths for like ten bucks or less. It's better to get the white ones that can be bleeched and washed with hot water.

I read about this a while back and although hormonal changes during puberty and pregnancy causes one's flower to darken, age is also a contributing factor. Being very fair when I was little I realized as I hit the puberty my nipples got slightly more brown in color and my little pikachoo as well. And yeah I have been checking on her every so often I use a big big mirror or a mirror with a magnifying glass effect. Sent from my iPhone 5

LOL OMG you ladies are totally killing it here!

I almost fell of my chair laughing! LOL

Choco - Amlactin on the flower isn't it a little too strong for it?

VS thanks after reading your discovery I found Lactacyd locally however it was only the regular feminine wash - no mention of lightening.
I will place an online order for Lactacyd intimate white shortly!

Thank you!

Hehehe... I'm glad you found this interesting. This is a topic most gals aren't too comfortable discussing, although it shouldn't be ignored when it comes to skin care. As for applying Amlactin to the flower, It probably would be if I let it stayed on, but I rinse off after like ten mins or so... My flower is still surviving tho. Lol

Haha! Love your little dancing emo with the feather at the bottom there. Lol Well, sorry to say but I'm also guilty of being one of the folks who USED to think "INFECTION!" The moment I hear about anything other than penis (we need a nick name for this big guy, ladies), Kotex, and of course mild soap and water on my little flower. Well I was wrong. I'm yet to even try Nair hair remover, though some of my friends love it. Had I not accidentally discover that LA can remove built-up junk, I probably would've been passing around thinking it was perfect because hubby didn't complain. Matter of fact, most descent guys wouldn't even say anything but,... If the color of your flower is Kevin Heart and the rest of your body is the last dude in the pics you put up (I don't even know his name but he's cute), your partner will definitely remember and prob have nightmares about it... Hehehe.
Choco You are right  most people  never discuss this.I  was once on some thread where a girl asked if hq would lighten her private areas  as they dont lighten as fast as the rest of the skin, Most of those areas are buildups like you said before... But the girl wanted a safer alternative so HQ was out of the question.. as they dont lighten as fast as the rest of the skin, .. Anyways  i suggested she use  anal bleaching cream, beacuse the tissue is as soft and senisitve as on the anal/vaginal lips., I got laughed at and got many comments such as "who cares  no one looks at that   part of your body anyways". It was  taboo for them..to even mention this in a  thread.Lods of the comments where even about their boyfriends not giving a sH't about how they looked down there. I stated my point and said its part of a hygiene why would you bleach lighten  your body but not give a f*ck about the rest of YOU..., LOL that was long..,...............:write:
