Need help with ordering All Day Chemist

I have tried twice to order from All Day Chemist without success, the first time my ordered failed because my bank thought it was a suspicious high risk.
Today I called my bank, they said they would allow for 24 hr access and so I just tried to place an order but it was declined.

Any suggestions? Can I buy a refillable Visa and use it?

Help! I want to order some retin a......

Thanks in advance

I had trouble checking out online also, with ADC. I realized this a couple of days after placing my order when my order status on their site had not changed. I called them, left a message. Received return call less than 30 minutes later. Was told that I can pay over the phone using a VISA card only. When I got home from work I used a VISA to place the order. Within an hour or so my order status changed online. My order arrived at my house in 16-17 days from the point that I first placed the order online, even with the payment delay. I will re-order from ADC, but I may go straight to payment over the phone with a one-time use VISA number (most major cc issuers offer this option, either online or if you call them).

As for ED, etc.-type spam, I was already getting that in my "for internet orders anyway" e-mail account, so I can't blame ADC.

Were the transactions done after you used the account to pay for ALD?

I have ordered from them without a problem. I only get phone calls from the bank if I am paying a large amount. My second order from them only took few days to arrive too.
I have been keeping my ordered reatively small in case I have to pay custom on top but they have been putting "Medicine" on the box so you can order as much as you like (I think).

Does anyone else find that their website calls for you to enter your credit card details twice when you buy stuff?

I have spoken to them on the phone, it was recently because my card kept declining evening though there was nothing wrong in accordance with my bank. The person I spoke to was not the best at English and had a rather awkward attitude but they always seem very helpful and polite when you converse with them via EMail.

Maggie, I called in with a card and they told me it was declined again yet nothing wrong on my end. I waited a couple of days and tried placing the order online again and it just went through.

Do you all also experience the double payment system where you have to put your card details in twice?

I'm in the UK and I use Inhousepharmacy, they're reliable but pricey and I've never had any problems with paying by card, unauthorised transactions or anything else. I don't need any more Retin-A yet but thought I'd have a look at ADC for future reference, and my pooter wouldn't even let me on the site. Too many discrepancies with the security certificate, it said.

Hi OvertheHill,

I also have been using Inhouse Pharmacy (for a few years). They are reliable, but I thought I would try Allday Chemist for a change. I have been hit a number of times by Customs charges as Inhouse Pharmacy do put the value on the outside of the package. I don't mind paying customs charges, but I do object to the £8.50 charge that the post office puts on top of that.

SkiQueen, let me know if your order arrives OK will you? The security certificate thing put me right off, even though I know a lot of people here use them - I couldn't see what difference being in the UK would make as far as that was concerned, but I still didn't fancy it.

I object to the Post Office 'handling fee' too. Just how much handling does it take to hit £8.50???

My postage for express from Indian to the us is $25 and all and all, I think it is well worth it. My order took about a week before they shipped and then another week to arrive as it goes to customs in NYC first, or that is what happened to my order. Then off to Georgia for delivery. Well packed and exactly as ordered.

But as others here have mentioned, all of a sudden the emails from other companies selling ED stuff started arriving daily so I suspect they sold my information but what do I know.

Not a coincidence at all LIsa! They keep wanting to put a python in my pants too and I haven't ordered from them in a long time. I used a gmail account to order from them that I never go to except for stuff like that when I know I'm going to get spammed to death.

Why? Do you NEED a python?? LOL!!

Groan.... yep! Now it seems that someone out there must think I am in desperate need of growing my python too, oh, and getting some viagra with which to keep it well muscled.

Worse still I am suddenly getting PHONE CALLS from Nigeria from weird telemarketers after giving them my phone number. WFT?!

I have Emailed them:

Subject: All Day Chemist Customer Question

Dear Sir,

Ever since I placed my order with all day chemist I have received a huge amount of junk Email, mainly to do with viagra or the like. There are other customers of yours on an online chat forum also complaining of the same problem. Do you share your customer's Email addresses with third parties or send out spam mail as this is very annoying and not acceptable.

And they replied:

Dear Miss .....

Thank you for the recent mail.

I apologize for the inconvenience faced by you but I guess that it may have been a co-incidence that such a thing has happened. Please provide the IP address of the sender and the mail header and i will ask our web developer to check the issue.

How to find the IP address of the email sender in Gmail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail, AOL, Outlook Express, etc : Arul John

Please pass this message in your forum and ask them to communicate with us with the above information.

With warm regards

So YEAH! I will be forwarding all the spam right back to them. Probably a waste of my time but hopefully someone is going to sit there grumbling about having to delete them all!

Is anyone else received weird phone calls after buying from ADC???

I had tried ordering from ADC as well. My bank declined the order because the order was being processed through Cypress and there is a lot of fraud coming out of there.

Yes, I have been getting loads of spam since I tried to order from ADC - Superhard Erectile, python in your pants, etc., crap. It's annoying.

I get at least three or four of those spam emails A DAY. So frustrating. But my Retin-A is worth it.

My advice? Make up a hotmail or yahoo or gmail email and ONLY use that email for online ordering. That way your personal or business email doesn't get this crap. That is what I have done, but like someone else says, the damage is done. I just keep on deleting!

ETA: I have ordered from them twice, and both times it took awhile to get to me but no problems on the cc or anything like that.

A day? I get that many an hour!!!

They have also always been snappy to deliver to me. I think I am going to get onto a derm for a prescription though as I'd feel a tad more comfortable not using online chemists. I guess lots of people use the retin A from ACD and have been happy with the product though.

In the states, even my prescription drug coverage, my co-pay for one tube of Retin-A was $35. Most insurance companies here won't even cover it after age 35 b/c they know you're using it for wrinkles and not acne.
