Thank you.I meant to add where i live but forgot!! Is it hard to get a prescription for? Do i just go to my local Dr and say i want it for my wrinkles? I'm excited ive found something to try and i'd really unhappy if it all goes wrong at the Drs!!!!

There should be no problem in getting a prescription from your doctor. All the problems that you read about on forums like this are from people who live in the US where insurance companies apparently refuse to pay for it. We don't have those issues in Oz.

Im a little confused about the price.I looked at the Retin A on the all day chemist and it was about $3.50 a tube. That doesnt seem enough? How long does a tube last? And what strength would i get? Sorry,i'm new here and have no knowledge of retin A.

Yes, it's cheap - and there's certainly nothing wrong with it. But postage from this site is expensive, that's why it's best to order in bulk. Different countries have different prices for pharmaceuticals - in Oz it's around $30.00, in the US it's over $100.00 and in Mexico and Spain it's dirt cheap too.

A tube will last around 3-6 months.

...I'm from Perth...my last order with ADC arrived within 10 days of ordering...which I thought was very quick...I ordered 6 tubes of Retin A...to justify the shipping costs...overall very happy...

I will post them for sure if i see any change.Even if no one looks at them i'll still be happy! I love before and after pics, and taking pics along the way,its amazing to see the changes you don't notice when you look every day!

Thank you! I dont think i could wait 10 days for my first one,i'll be at the Drs first thing tomorrow! But thank you for letting me know how you went,i always worry when ordering something online for the first time,Now i'll be able to order in the future without worry!

Oldladyskin...pretty soon you will have to change your user name!!!!

I was really worried the first time I ordered from ADC...I thought my package wouldn't go past customs...no problems at all...my packages have never been opened or the contents questioned...same when I have ordered my actives...

Good luck...I had no problems in getting a script form my Dr...I told her that I did tons of research and knew that I had to use SS religiously...in the end I didn't use the script and ordered it from ADC...

Hi ladyskin ( refuse to put Old!) Im in Australia and Ive been getting scripts for Retin A for years... you get a 5 repeat so it's not too expensive. Ive just ordered from the US for Ferulic acid.... it's taking a while (apparently posted on the 10th Oct) I'll let you know when I get it. This is the first time Ive ordered actives from the US. How long does it take for you other Aussies?

Ok,i got it!! But now im confused!! I got the prescription no problem, but then all the chemists i went to said they dont make that one anymore,so finally a chemist said he had the same thing but in another brand,so i got that and was jumping for joy until i went through the info leaflet which just says its for acne? I know the cream is used for acne as well as wrinkles, but could this cream be just for acne?Or am i being silly?

Actually.........the gel form works better for those with acne..........so if you have the cream form, no worries!! Apply just a tad until you know your skins limits. I wish you the best ladyskin-

@DennyJune It depends where I've ordered from, but generally packages from the US take about 2 1/2 weeks to get to me.

@Me too! I buy most of my actives from SEA. I buy one or two things from LotionCrafter, but I avoid them as much as possible because they charge so much for shipping. I order oils from Garden of Wisdom.

@OldLadySkin Yes, that's right! Retin A was initially developed as an anti-acne treatment, but users quickly found that it was very effective for anti-aging too. As long as it says Retin A or Tretinoin, you should be fine.

Yay!! Let us know how you get on. To avoid any unnecessary irritation, I cleanse my skin then wait until it is completely dry before applying retin A. I then wait for it to soak in, then apply moisturiser over the top

Thanks Dempeaux! I cant wait until tonight now! Its funny how just thinking something MIGHT work is enough to really boost my spirits!!!! I hope i see some improvement, even just a little bit.I've been considering botox but i'd really rather not have to go that far if possible.Mainly because of the price and possible side effects, but also because once you start that stuff where do you go later on,in 5,10 or even 20 years?? Hopefully i can slow down aging enough to be content,if not quite happy!!

Many products used for acne.....are anti aging.

More important than all of that though...SUNSCREEN...starting years ago. But no time like the present!!
