Hello,

I'm new to sct, but have been researching through threads on here for about 2 months now. My goal is to be 2-3 shades lighter then my current right now ( avatar ).

I have been exfoliating with kojie san skin lightening soap as well as washing and bathing with dead sea salts daily for about 2 months now.

I did a LA peel %40 as well as began to use my diy LA lotion 2 weeks ago, then stopped using the lotion along with the kojie san soap 4 days ago ( I did not want to over exfoliate my skin...).

I've noticed minor peeling on my face as well as hands but nothing major. I just received my maxi peel about an hour ago, haven't yet opened the bottle, I plan on using it as a spray and would like to get peoples opinion's & advice on my regimen.

I'm also raw foodist/vegan, and plan on juicing for a week during that time, to release toxins!

Morning:
Kojie san skin lightening soap
LA lotion 15% ( Face and body )
SPF 30

Night:
Kojie san skin lightening soap
LA Lotion 15 % ( Face and body )
Maxi peel #4 ( Spray bottle

After exfoliation ( Lightening )

Morning:
Kojie san skin lightening soap
Carolight by angel brand (tub and oil mix)
SPF 30

Night:
Kojie san skin lightening soap
LA lotion 15% ( Face and body )
Carolight by angel brand (tub and oil mix)

Thank you

♡ + 270c

Do you suggest making a lotion from the vitamin c or adding that to my la lotion?

& Do you think my reg will lighten my skin ?

No, apply the vitamin C serum directly to our face in the morning. It will provide the skin with a natural glow, which is important in the lightening process - you don't want your skin to look washed out and unnatural. I did not notice any real lighteners in your regimen. The maxipeel does have HQ - you did not say where you were applying the Maxi peel, however I only apply Maxi peel to my body not my face. i don't know about the Kojie San Soap and LA lotion on your face at the same time. Be careful. I agree with Skinybabe, that if you are considering a lightener for your face Surewhite serum and carotein gel are both good. Also agree that you should start slow so that your skin has a chance to adjust. Kojie San is good, but is a harsh soap and if you have sensitive skin, may be too much. So start slow/don't overdo it and pay attention to how your skin reacts.

Good Luck

Do some research on Skin Light and Caro White/Light those two products are working well
Try mixing the cream oil and serum together
Check these threads out http://www.skincaretalk.com/t/37039/prinny-skinlight-mix-she-did-not-lie-3

Also do not apply your lighteners on peels day
I see that you plan on using maxi peel in the morning and in the night which is not the way it is supposed to be used
You should only use it at night and wash it off with a non harsh soap the following morning (kojic san should be avoided) do so for 3 days and you should be seeing some results.
Do not over do it and watch out for sun exposure
I think that if you incorporate lighteners you should be seeing results within a few moths
Are you trying to lightening your face as well? If so, you can do some research on carotein gel and serum, sure white gel and serum and rose line cream. These are natural products. They work pretty fine. I am in love with sure white. There are lots of info about these products.
Good luck on your journey.

After the hq, I wanted to maintain with arbutin and was wondering if anyone had any good results with it. Since its a natural compound and basically turns into hq.
+ You didn't even answer the question and I really don't see why you think it's so funny...
There's really no point in replying if you aren't even going to answer the question.
I won't be applying the soap to my face only the la lotion.

Hi Lunaa I have never used arburtin by itself but I don't think it can help you lighten by itself
You will need to use a product that contains kojic acid with another natural lightener such as mulberry extract or licorice, niacinamide is also good a bunch of companies use these ingredients such as sure white, rose line or carotein you will need the entire line though. That and the practice of SAP
Try to do some research on natural lighteners on the forum.
Also frequent and consistent exfoliation would help.
You can also go the DIY route. I am not really good at compounding but there a many threads on here.
I hope that helps.

Okay thanks,
I'm thinking of formulating my own diy b3, kojic, and arbutin togther, or purchasing the rose line.
I use sun screen 24/7 but will be purchasing spf100, as well as do dead sea salt soaks 3 x per week and bath with kojie san soap 3x a week as well as use LA lotion so the exfloation and sap part is fine for me.
Have you had success with the mixing of natural products?

that's sounds like a good plan to maintain once you reach your goal
sure white serum and gel is working good for me not as fast as I wish but I do see real improvement.

I echo what the others say, you need to incorporate some sort of lightener in there even if it's for permatan removal, because a person's skin who has been tanned for a very long time (Years and years) will look like that for the rest of their lives unless they do something about it. The permatanned skin's cells are programmed to produce the same dark tone due to the over production of melanin. Blame the sun for that, lol. But with a lightener and exfoliation, you can make the new skin "mimic" the lightened permatan and it'll reset and reprogram itself, and that's when you'll start to lighten.

Vitamin C serum is really easy to make and is a great natural skin lightener. I would also advise you to take vitamin c tablets (1,000 mg - 3,000 mg) since it also helps tremendously in producing glutathione levels in your body, which is responsible for light skin in general. It helps to use it with vitamin e and rosehips. :)

Good luck!

I just noticed I did not answer your question I am still using hq to reach my goal but I am planning to diy in a few months
When I do it will be kojic acid, b3 and mulberry extract. Sure white is the only natural product I am using and I only put it on my face.

If I am already getting about 200% vit c each day from natural sources such as vegetables and fruits... is it necessary to get vit c serum when lightening the skin with hq?
