Hi, I'm new here. I'm not a native English speaker; so pls understand my bad English...
I'd like to ask a question..
Recently, as it's getting drier here, I can't bear if I'm not putting moisturizer on my face more often that I've used to- like, for every 3-4 hours. Before doing it, I always wash my hands vigorously.
But I've heard applying any cosmetic too often is not good..So should I reduce the number of putting it on my face?
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, it really depends on the type of moisturizer you're applying. you should check the ingredients to make sure its not bad for your skin so applying it too often will hurt.

I also live in a very dry climate and you can do things at night that will keep it moist all day.
1. I know you hear this a lot but drink LOTS of water. The air is stripping your skin of water so if you're not drinking water constantly then you will be like a raisin. hahaha
2. the best you can do is to prep your skin before the day. aka at night and in the morning. Use many different layers of moisture. Like serum and moisturizer as well as oil to lock it in.
3. Try to get a natural moisturizer to apply and make sure to lightly rinse away the sweat before you apply.
4. Take one day out of the week to stay inside and not apply anything to your face, to give it a chance to breath and act on its own.
5. Invest in a humidifier. They really do work! I suggest the ones from korea though, I can't find any in the US that work, if anyone has a recommendation thought that'd be awesome!
