Hi MizzTaurus. I got married in May this year, so I feel you. I was so desperate to be flawless too in my dress. I used fair and flalwless 5x body gel. It works pretty fast and lightens really nice. It's pretty strong especially in your first week. I just fed my skin with rosehip oil and lots of vitamin E creams. It's a little pricey, well for me anyway, I am in South Africa and the rand is not that strong but it was worth it. For my face I used a cheaper toning cream. My face lightens very quickly I don't struggle, I don't need to use the expensive brands.

Hi Indoamerican. I used the hypercreme plus toning cream on the face. They have extra tone and illumination fluid for the body but that takes a while so don't bother. The toning creme for the face is a winner. I wasn't aware of the importance of exfoliation at the time, I learned about it when I joined the forum, but twice a week I used a body scrub from the body shop, I am not sure if that's enough exfoliation. The forum seems to endorse something chemical. I am currently using the Kojic acid soap but it's still early days for me to fully endorse it as an effective exfoliator. For the dark knuckles I saw a dermatologist who prescribed for me kligmans luma 5% HQ I used that for two weeks and went to see him for a peel once every two weeks. I had only three peels and hands got really light and pretty. The hands lightened even before I went for a peel. I don't know if you can order the kligmans luma online, I haven't tried. You absolutely have to prioritiise your hands because of the many photos you will be taking as well as your back, especially if you are wearing a boob tube dress and your feet. Very high SPF goes without saying as well as dodging the sun like a vampire LOL. Good luck, im sure you will be the fairest of them all on your wedding day and that's the way it should be. Take your vitamin C 1000 mg, two tablets a day. At this point you need to throw everything at it.

I would start with the kligman fomuls

 

Since Kligman's formula contains steroids, how long should it be used for? Are steroids okay short term?

 

No long term use, I used it for about 3 weeks then switched.

 

May I ask why you opted for the steroid choice. I hear its dangerous leads to all sorts of evil to come. I don't know. Also, was this for face of only for stubborn places like knees.

Do y'll think that dark booty place the ""dark butt cuff"" is too sensitive for steroid use?

Like you say maybe three weeks only is okay.

I have serious hyperpigmentation & been prescribed Kligmans by derm but I was too afraid to use it. I wish I hadn't thrown it away.

Also wanna ask you what's in the hypercreme plus ? does it have roids or hq? did you exfoliate your face prior to using this or did you use something else with it or just by itself?

 

For detailed info on the hypercreme go to www.floclaire.com. Forth the face I pretty much used it on its own, but once a week or when I saw congestion on my face I'd use a face scrub. I'd advise you to get a good face scrub and use it perhap twice a week to slough away the dead cells and allow better penetration on the skin.

NO it didnt work for me. Wasting over 200pounds of my hard earned cash. You are probably on in 10000 it has worked for in recent times. It only me my purse lighter while i got dark and full of flaws and i know way too many people it has not worked for even though i jumped on the bandwagon on this site,those that hailed it have back tracked. Totally worthless product. The tubs look nice on my dressing table though

 

hello, i read your thread and wanted to help although am a newbie First of all am not living in the US am in africa so i don't know if u have what am going to suggest in your country .1 go get a steam bath or sawna bath (or whatever u call it there) & scrub all the dead skin layer by a lofa (body shop lofa or moroco lofa ) .2 from my experience.؛‎ ‎(Body White ) gel & serum , & (Eclat gel body whitening milk )these two makes u peel quickly .3 whatever u do take vitamin C as supplement s & topical serum it will shock u

Just do your research. I'm on nadinola carotien and skin light with a lil ra. I wash with likas and kojic san soap
