It's an allergenic reaction, it's not steroids. You must go to a dermatologist, He'll give you a drug to stop inflammation, and a lotion to prevent any skin damages.
If you don't have enough money, you can make a green clay mask with honey.
You must also avoid the make-up till the problem is resolved.

Thanks for the update, its really helpful when things are specified.
i've just ordered the 5x gel for my hands and knuckles because they look very bad now. I used LA on them and i think i got burned even though i only used 30%. May hands look so bad its unreal. I though since the5x works really fast and since i aint using it on my face it should be ok.
Can someone please chime in and let me know what they think about using it on the hands/knuckles only.

I think i have PIH, a few spots not too bad. Its the dark knuckles that freak me out. My sister said to me the other day that my hands look like im bleaching that it doesnt look good.

People use that 5xgel at their own risk, on their site it strictly states for the body... This is getting so boring now-.- steroids ornot don't use the damn thing on your face... What strikes me is everyone just looking at the 10 top posts in the past few days instead of checking back on all the useful threads some even based on this very gel, how many more pointless threads are there gonna be? Oh f&f has steroids it's nothing we havnt heard already. Leitywannabe this ain't directly at you but to anyone else who's thinking of outing their facial skin at risk.

Hey litey, as Titi said its probably an allergic reaction. You need to have an assimilation of steriod for a prolong period of time (at least a couple of mths) before it will cause facial swelling.
You might be allergic to the products in the cream, thus the reaction. But def not 2wks use of steriods. Unless you taking large quantity orally as well.
