Hello

I could really do with help on this one. I have an ingrowing hair that keeps appearing in the same place on my face.

Every time I try to remove it (even gently) it becomes marked and starts weeping. It isn't painful but it looks really nasty and I think the hair that is in there is making it difficult to heal.

Last time, when I could get at the hair, I plucked it out which was probably the wrong thing to do. Two weeks later it was back again.

I've shaved the same way for years without this persistent problem arising until just recently. What can I do to stop this coming back? I don't want to have to put up with a weeping sore on my face every few weeks that takes ages to go away.

Thanks

Hey Mark, when you pull the hair out next time, don't pluck it out completely, just pull it out of the skin and leave it there. It appears that the hair follicule is damage so just pulling the hair out and cutting it will allow things to normalize. As you know plucking it out completely will cause the same thing to happen over and over again.
