@ browzie

Girl after our discussion I went searching on the internet like a mad woman!!!!
I read so many reviews about women constantly buying that stuff
and only about 3 of them were actually bad. I'm still going to get it tested.
If the test results come back as just a % of hq, Mariah Carey, here I come!
Totally joking lol I'll take it easy

*I bought all 3 item BTW

I read browzies post about her friend and decided to do some research into this cream. I spent half a dalf on the net reading EVERY review I could possibly find on it and I decided it is a NO.

1. This cream is STRONGER version of most of the african steroid creams so think of Bio Claire, G + G, Movate, Civic etc they are STRONG creams and have side effects but this cream is STRONGER than ALL OF THEM. I'm not sure if this can be seen as a GOOD or BAD thing but I see it as bad. Everyone knows these African creams are bad but a STRONGER version. It's got MORE HQ and MORE mercury

2. This cream states on the label it contains 2% hydroquine usually when I see this it usually means it actually contains about 4% but NOT with this cream it contains 7.2%!! So what other HIGH percentages are in there?! of what else?!

3. From the reviews I've read it WHITES + LIGHTENS dramatically then after a while the side effects begin creeping in. I'm too scared to use a cream that strong, don't get me wrong I'll dabble in abit of Bio Claire, Movate or Neoprosone whenever need be but this L'abidjaniase seems like it's in a whole other league.

That's just MY view.

In my friend's defense, her skin is absolutely gorgeous, and I think she's cutting back on the applications, cuz now she's about jaslene (from america's next top model) color...her skin is smooth, and Im constantly searching for stretch marks or any other deformity, but nope, all clear..Maybe she's just one of the lucky ones, but Im way too scared to try this stuff, that's why its absolutely important for you Sol to check this stuff out..if you find that it contains harmful ingredients, you better call that store u got it from, and DEMAND your money back..if they refuse tell them you will report them to authorities, as what they are selling is illegal, that should scare them into giving you a refund=)

Ah yes Browzie, also what I have found it the huge side effects beging to appear whent he person attempts to STOP using the product and after use.

After a while when she stops the use her skin is going to go into confusion, 'WHERE IS MY MERCURY?! WHERE ARE THE THINGS WHICH MADE ME GO FROM DARK TO LIGHT?!?!' and start reacting BIG TIME! This is usually the stage when the person gets alot darker.

Ofcourse if her skin is gentically programmed to be a dark brown and she lightens it eventually it will begin to go back and then she will NEED this cream again as the mediocre power of our little creams wouldn't be able to give her the full effect. THIS is when problems will arise.

Guys im realising most people dabble with steroid creams (my friend is SUPER light and uses F + F and she dabbles in them from time to time) so I'm PRO steroids when used RIGHT however this cream in particular seems like it has been given HIGHER concentrations than most of the creams so this is why I'm scared of it.

Also I've found with people who are VERY dark they usually have super THICK skin, most of us on here are medium brown - light so we need to be careful, people like us see reactions and side effects fastest.

I say we all stay away

@ browzie

I do plan on getting it tested because all this talk just scared the crap out of me!
I'll report back as soon as I do. I ordered from a BBS in New York (they sell ALOT
of fade creams in that place or maybe just on their website) because there is
barely any where I live. Hmm I did spend a total of $39 and some change and it
would be nice to have that back in my account lol

@ Sol: waiting for this info too...JUST for reference.

I'm just wondering why those creams with mercury or high steroids are so popular when you can get crazy light very quickly with HQ 8-10 & RA for pennies? You'll still need to invest in exfoliation and sunblock but still you could come out miles ahead in dollars. Do we only know that here on SCT or are those two hard to find in other countries? Ondine even went dramatically lighter with HQ 4 & RA.

I'm just askin...

This whole DIY world is great for me. I wish I'd had the info sooner so I could have used the bucks for some Gamma Hydroxy or more Hyaluronic serum. Now Me's broke for awhile...

(but in the meantime, I have SO many ingredients for stuff I'm planning on making, my table looks like a Meth lab...whatever that looks like...)

@ Iamme: Mega thanks! I was just researching that, trying to find a supplier and you and fawnie both gave me the same link! I cant wait to make it! (I wish they sold in bulk though, sounds like it will have to be a staple!).

@Toffee: I'm using the Urea/Tran/Deoxy mixed in my base lotion. Its REALLLLY good! I read online that a doc prescribed a cream for his patient that had extremely dry skin with 40% Urea. I've always made mine with 10%. Is there a downsize in using a high percentage of that?

@Quesitslee123: I've read a lot about it too and I don't see any downsize increasing the % at all. I changed mine to 20% a while ago - it disolves hard skin fast & your tranx exfoliates in a subtle way, and the combination is so smooth and gets better. You can increase it gradually
